Founded in 2017, EV100 is a global initiative launched by the climate organization the Climate Group to promote the use of new energy vehicles at the corporate level. Joining the initiative will require companies to achieve 100% adoption of new energy for vehicles under 3.5 tons and 50% adoption of new energy for vehicles between 3.5 and 7.5 tons at the company level by 2030, adopt incentives to encourage employees to replace their vehicles with new energy vehicles, and install sufficient charging piles to ensure the normal use of new energy vehicles for the company and its employees.

Companies will need to make the following commitments by 2030.

(1) Convert their vehicle use to electric vehicles.

(2) Install appropriate charging infrastructure on their premises (where practical and relevant to the circumstances).

127 companies from worldwide have joined the EV100 initiative so far, with domestic companies including LONGi and Baidu.
