1. In March 2023,
Guannan County Huaihe Road Experimental School launched the Airborne Garden
Project in front of the teaching building, anchoring the concept of
"educating people through greenery" and creating an eco-friendly
space with Chinese roses as the core vegetation. The project vigorously
revitalizes the idle aerial platform in front of the teaching building,
carefully selects multiple Chinese rose varieties, and builds a
three-dimensional green classroom integrating viewing and ecological education.

2. In terms of

3. The school
simultaneously develops the school-based curriculum Exploring the Airborne
Chinese Rose Garden, and regularly carries out various activities such as

4. After more than
two years of operation, the vegetation coverage rate of the airborne garden

was founded in 2019 and currently has 240 staff members and 3,320 students

Plan, Process and Comparison Before and After Implementation of the Airborne
Rose Garden Project - I. Project Implementation Plan and Process - (I)
Preparation Phase (January-February 2023): A project team led by the principal
was established, and joint preliminary investigations were conducted with
county agricultural technicians and structural engineers: First, the
load-bearing capacity, daily sunlight duration and soil adaptability of the
airborne platform in front of the teaching building were tested, and a 200㎡ renovation scope was
determined.

drought-tolerant rose varieties such as floribunda and climbing roses were

3. Third, a

bees to inhabit here. The local PM2.5 concentration on campus has decreased, and

11. Changes in Teachers'
and Students' Behaviors and Awareness: Before implementation, students had a

wasting green plants and neglecting environmental protection. After
implementation, a large number of teachers and students have participated in
many ecological activities throughout the year.
