On April 16, 2021, THE Nature Conservancy (TNC) Beijing Representative Office held a seminar on "Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to Help Enterprises become Carbon Neutral". Meeting online offline synchronization, a total of more than 40 guests, including ecological environment strategy of national climate center, its energy research institute, create carbon cast institute of institutions such as experts, some enterprises and representatives of chamber of commerce, mutual exchanges carbon neutral paths, and based on the nature of exploration and discovery solution in which can reach the potential. Participants shared information on the current progress and efforts in their respective fields.

Mr. Peng Zhao, chief Innovation Officer of China TNC, made the opening speech. He summarized the significance of NbS for carbon peak and carbon neutrality in TNC's eyes, as well as the important role of enterprises, and introduced the original intention of this series of salon. Ms. Holly, director of Climate change and Energy of China TNC, shared the "3+1" mode of carbon neutrality advocated by TNC, including the technical route of "inventory/target setting and path setting/emission reduction and offset + innovation" and some international cases.

2021年4月16日，大自然保护协会（TNC）北京代表处举办了“基于自然的解决方案（NbS）助力企业碳中和”主题研讨会。会议在线下线上同步举行，共40余位嘉宾参加，包括生态环境部国家气候战略中心、国网能源研究院、中创碳投研究院等机构的专家、部分企业和商会代表，共同交流碳中和实现路径，并探索和发现基于自然的解决方案在其中可以发挥的潜力。与会嘉宾就各自领域目前的进展和努力进行分享交流。

中国TNC首席创新官赵鹏先生首先做开场致辞。他总结了在TNC眼中NbS对于碳达峰、碳中和目标的意义以及其中企业的重要作用，并介绍了本系列沙龙的初心。中国TNC气候变化与能源总监霍莉女士分享了TNC倡导的碳中和“3+1”模式，包括“盘查/设定目标和路径/减排和抵消+创新”的技术路线及与部分国际案例。
