Recently, Sweden attracted global attention to pv by announcing that it would include consumer emissions as a national responsibility for reducing emissions -- meaning that carbon emissions from goods manufactured overseas and imported into Sweden will be added to the country's total emissions.

Almost at the same time, on April 24, Longie officially released the "Supply chain Green Partner Empowerment Program" at the longie 2022 Supplier Conference. Huo Yan, general manager of Longji Stock brand, introduced that carbon neutrality has become a global consensus at present. It is the common goal of Longji and its supplier partners to actively respond to the national "double carbon" target requirements and build a green, low-carbon and sustainable supply chain.

Why did Longi do itIn the global trend of carbon neutrality, although it brings great opportunities for the development of photovoltaic and other renewable energy, it also faces challenges that cannot be ignored.According to the World Bank, more than 30 countries and regions have implemented carbon taxes, mainly in Europe and some developed countries. In July 2021, the EU formally put forward the Bill of Carbon Border Regulation Mechanism, namely cross-border carbon tax. A carbon tax is likely to be directly embedded in the international trading system, which would create new trade and technical barriers for China's export-oriented industries. The EU is an important overseas market for Chinese pv products. If the EU imposes a 'green' market entry threshold for PV products, it will have a significant impact on China's PV exports, as well as the global PV supply chain. In the context of China's proposed "dual carbon" goal, Longji has accelerated the pace of climate action. In 2020, Longji joined the three international initiatives of RE100, EP100 and EV100 of the Climate Group, becoming the only enterprise in China to join the three "100" initiatives of the Climate Group at the same time. It also participated in the Scientific Carbon Target (SBTi) and started the construction of the first "zero carbon factory".
