In fact, China Jinmao's contribution to energy conservation and emission reduction first stems from the sustainable development concept applied in the construction of urban operation projects. China Jinmao vigorously promotes the application of clean energy and renewable energy systems such as sewage sources, river water sources, and electric energy storage in its regional and city-level energy station projects. At present, China Jinmao is providing energy operation and maintenance services and will provide operation and maintenance services for 35 projects with a total area of ​about 10 million square meters, and is expected to save 100,000 tons of carbon emissions every year

In just a few years, China Jinmao's "zero carbon" operation concept has completed the upgrade from single building to urban operation, and its "zero carbon" influence has also completed a leap from the enterprise level to the public level.

日前，由南京市发改委主办、中国金茂承办、北京环境交易所协办的南京绿色出行碳中和项目发布会，暨“我的南京”APP绿色出行频道V2.0升级仪式在南京威斯汀大酒店举办。承办此次活动，体现了中国金茂践行绿色发展战略、履行央企社会责任的坚持所在。

事实上，中国金茂在节能减排上的贡献，首先源于其在城市运营项目建设中所运用的可持续开发理念。中国金茂在旗下区域级、城市级的能源站项目中大力推动污水源、江水源、电储能等清洁能源和可再生能源系统的应用。目前，中国金茂正在提供能源运维服务及即将提供运维服务的项目达35个，总面积约1000万平米，预计每年节约的碳排放量达10万吨。

短短几年时间，中国金茂的“零碳”运营理念，完成了从单体建筑到城市运营的升级，其“零碳”影响力，也完成了从企业层面到社会大众层面的飞跃。
