In 1999, an architectural ceramics brand with "Monalisa" as the registered trademark was born. The birth of "Snowflake white" laid the brand image.

"Monalisa" brand around the products and services carefully cultivated, with unique market competitiveness of "product + service" development mode, with more than 100 large real estate enterprises such as Country Garden, Vanke, Poly, China Sea to establish long-term stable strategic cooperative relationship. The company has won the Vanke A-level supplier, the strategic partners and consumers widely recognized and praised for many years. It has participated in the construction of eight venues of Beijing Olympic Games, ten venues of Guangzhou Asian Games, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Beijing Daxing Airport and other key projects at home and abroad. In addition, it has been signed as the designated ceramic tile supplier for China Pavilion of Dubai Expo 2020 and the exclusive official architectural ceramic supplier for the 19th Asian Games of Hangzhou 2022, providing quality products and services for real estate and strategic projects, which has gained a good market reputation.

The group established an enterprise research and development center in 1999, was recognized as the "Guangdong Province Building Ceramic Engineering Technology Research and Development Center" in 2004, the "Guangdong Province Enterprise Technology Center" in 2005, the National High-Tech Enterprise in 2008, and the National Torch Program Key High-Tech Enterprise in 2010. In 2011, academician workstation was established, and in 2013, it was upgraded to academician workstation in Foshan and Guangdong Province, and postdoctoral research workstation was established in the same year.

At present, Monalisa Group is an enterprise with high scientific and technological platforms such as National Recognized Enterprise Technology Center, Guangdong Province Science and Technology Expert Workstation, Postdoctoral Research Workstation, China Light Industry Key Laboratory of Inorganic Materials, China Light Industry Ceramic Decorative Plate Engineering Technology Research Center, and undertakes major projects of national "11th Five-Year Plan" Science and Technology Support Plan. It is the deputy director unit of the National Building Sanitary Ceramics Standardization Technical Committee, and participated in the editing a number of national standards, industry standards, local standards, group or alliance standards. It also led the drafting of the international standard of Thin Ceramic Tile (Board) on behalf of China for the first time, and won the Excellence Award of China Patent in 2016 and 2017. As of June 2022, Monalisa Group has been responsible for (contributing to) the compilation of 49 national, industrial, local and group standards, and has obtained 1,087 patents, including 216 invention patents (including 8 foreign invention patents), 158 utility model patents and 713 exterior design patents, covering the design, production, application and environmental protection of architectural ceramics. Monalisa has achieved high automation and green in the field of production and manufacturing, and is at the leading level of the industry.

集团于1999年成立了企业研发中心，2004年被认定为“广东省建筑陶瓷工程技术研究开发中心”，2005年被认定为“广东省企业技术中心”，2008年被认定为国家高新技术企业，2010年被评为国家火炬计划重点高新技术企业。2011年成立院士工作站，2013年升级为佛山市、广东省级院士工作站，同年设立博士后科研工作站。

如今蒙娜丽莎集团是拥有国家认定企业技术中心、广东省科技专家工作站、博士后科研工作站、中国轻工业无机材料重点实验室、中国轻工业陶瓷装饰板材工程技术研究中心等高科研技术平台的企业，承担国家“十一•五”科技支撑计划重大项目，是全国建筑卫生陶瓷标准化技术委员会副主任单位，参编、主编多项国家标准、行业标准、地方标准、团体或联盟标准，并首次代表中国主导起草《薄型陶瓷砖（板）》国际标准，2016年及2017年获得中国专利优秀奖。截至2022年6月，蒙娜丽莎集团共主（参）编国家、行业、地方、团体标准49项，已获专利授权1087件，其中发明专利216件（含国外发明专利8件）、实用新型专利158件、外观设计713件， 涵盖建筑陶瓷设计、生产、应用和环保治理等多方面，在生产制造领域实现了较高的自动化与绿色化，处于行业领先水平。
