Gotion High-tech Co.,Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Gotion") was founded in May 2006, and its headquarter is located in Baohe District, Hefei. It is the earliest national enterprise in China's power battery industry to enter the capital market, and was successfully listed in May 2015 with stock code SZ.002074. The company has businesses such as new energy vehicle power lithium battery, energy storage, power transmission and distribution equipment, and has built independent and mature R&D, procurement, production and sales systems. The company has established eight global R&D centers in Hefei, China; Shanghai, China; Silicon Valley, USA; Cleveland, USA; Göttingen, Germany; Tsukuba, Japan; Pune, India; and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The company is one of the earliest enterprises engaged in the independent research and development, production and sales of new energy vehicle power lithium-ion battery. The main products are lithium iron phosphate materials and cells, ternary materials and cells, power battery pack, battery management system and energy storage battery pack. The products are widely used in the field of new energy vehicles such as pure electric passenger cars, commercial vehicles, special vehicles and light-weight vehicles, as well as providing system solutions for energy storage power stations and communication base stations. The company has passed ISO9000 ceritificatio、ISO14000 ceritificatio、 OHSAS18000 ceritification and TS16949 quality system certification in order, and has been awarded as a national CNAS accredited testing center, and its energy storage laboratory has been granted the WMTC qualification. The products have passed many domestic and international certifications.

The company has been awarded "National Torch Plan Key High-tech Enterprise", "Lithium-ion Battery Application Development Project Unit", "National Enterprise Technology Center", "Three National '863' Major Project Undertaking Unit", "National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise", "National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise", "National Green Factory", "China Well-known Trademark" and other honorary titles. The company has more than 5,000 R&D technicians. By the end of September 2022, Gotion has applied for a total of 6,053 patents, including 2,714 invention patents (including 174 foreign patents), 2,939 utility model patents and 400 design patents. The company has granted a total of 4068 patents, including 1084 invention patents (including 70 foreign invention patents), 2608 utility model patents and 376 design patents. The company has published 262 research papers, 23 SCI papers, 147 core publications, 125 software copyright registrations and 3 work registrations. Gotion has presided over and participated in 54 standards, including 2 international standards, 22 national standards, 8 industry standards, 6 local standards and 16 group standards.

In addition to a large number of patent technologies in China, the patent technologies of the company are also distributed in Europe, America, Japan, Korea and other overseas countries. The patent technologies mainly cover the four main materials of battery cells, cell structure design, cell processing technology and equipment, BMS, PACK, testing and evaluation, dismantling and recycling, and energy storage, etc. The layout of the patent covers the whole industry chain of battery technologies.
