a new energy high-tech company specializing in the research and development and
manufacturing of automotive power batteries and energy storage systems.
The company was registered in 2018 and is headquartered in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province.
SVOLT adopts a global layout for R&D and production, and has already established R&D centers in Wuxi, Baoding, Shanghai and Shenzhen, and its production bases are in Changzhou, Baoding, Taizhou and Maanshan. The company will continue to gradually improve the layout of production bases in China's Yangtze River Delta region, Central China region, Southwest China region and Europe, and build R&D centers in Germany, Korea and Japan to establish a global R&D, production and service network to serve global vehicle manufacturers and energy storage customers.
In terms of product technology innovation, Hive Energy launched the world's first cobalt-free material battery, and simultaneously carried out the R&D and optimization of mainstream high nickel ternary batteries, as well as the R&D of cutting-edge technologies such as solid-state batteries, lithium-sulfur and lithium-air batteries.
In terms of process innovation, SVOLT is the first to apply the high-speed laminating process in the field of square hard-shell batteries and produce square laminated ternary batteries.
In terms of system monitoring innovation, SVOLT has made public the SVOLT Cloud platform in strategic cooperation with Huawei, Tsinghua University and China Automotive Engineering Research Institute.
In terms of category innovation, SVOLT has launched a new battery category, Short Knife Battery, covering the full range of charging from 1.6-4C. The new product will be used in the full range of scenarios such as passenger car, energy storage, commercial vehicles, construction machinery and non-high-speed trams, covering the full range of chemical systems of cobalt-free, ternary and lithium iron phosphate.
