As the only member of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) in China, CNPC has led the establishment of the Methane Control And Emission Control Alliance of China's Oil and Gas enterprises in the past two years. The company signed the OGCI's latest Development Strategy and OGCI's 2021 Annual Report with the chairmen and ceos of member companies, and jointly launched the methane Zero Initiative to contribute to addressing climate change and realizing the low-carbon transformation of the oil and gas industry.
