On September 30, 2022, Jiangsu Shangshang Cable Group's 10.17MW rooftop distributed photovoltaic power station project, built by JA Smart Energy, was successfully connected to the grid. This project is invested by Jiangsu Shangshang Cable Group, and JA Smart Energy undertakes the turnkey project of EPC general contract service.

Shangshang Cable Group was founded in 1967, focusing on the research and
development, manufacturing and service of wire and cable products, products
involved in new energy, power transmission and distribution, Marine engineering
and shipbuilding, construction engineering, mining, industrial manufacturing,
rail transit, automobile, airport and other fields. The company has a national
recognized enterprise technology center and postdoctoral research station, and
won the first place of "The most competitive enterprise in China's cable
Industry". The scale of insulated cable enterprises ranks the first in
China and the seventh in the world. He has won the "China Industry
Award" and the "China Quality Award Nomination Award" for three
consecutive times.
Since the construction of the distributed photovoltaic power generation project of Jiangsu Shangshang Cable Group started in July 2022, it has experienced rare high temperature weather in the local area and faced severe epidemic prevention and control policies. Under multiple tests, JA Smart Energy not only overcame the difficulties, ensured the quality and safety of the whole project, and completed the grid-connected power generation ahead of schedule, which was greatly recognized by Jiangsu Shangshang Cable Group.
The completion of this project is an important measure for JA Smart Energy to help Jiangsu Shangshang Cable Group achieve "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality". After the completion of the project, the average annual power generation will be about 10 million kWh, the use of standard coal will be reduced by 75,000 tons, and the carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by nearly 250,000 tons. The photovoltaic power station can generate electricity by adopting the mode of "self-use and surplus electricity online", and the photovoltaic power generated can be basically completely absorbed, which can effectively reduce the cost of power consumption in the factory and reduce the dependence on the public grid while obtaining the benefits of energy saving and emission reduction.

该项目的建成是晶澳智慧能源助力江苏上上电缆集团在实现“碳达峰”“碳中和”进程中的重大举措。项目建成后25年均发电量约1000万kWh,减少使用标准煤7.5万吨,减少二氧化碳排放量近25万吨。光伏电站所发电能采用“自发自用、余电上网”模式,所发光伏电力基本可以完全消纳,在获得节能减排效益的同时可以有效降低厂区用电成本,减少对公共电网的依赖。
