June 5, in order to promote the popularization and application of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in China, China FAW, Dongfeng Automobile, GAC Group, BAIC Group, Toyota Motor, Yihuatong and other six companies signed a joint venture contract, the establishment of joint fuel cell system research and development (Beijing) Co., LTD., the company is positioned as an open hydrogen fuel cell system research and development platform, is expected to be established in Beijing within the year.

The platform is jointly funded by six companies, carrying out a series of technology research and development work such as "FC stack component technology", "FC system control technology" and "vehicle carrying technology" to meet the needs of the Chinese market. By fully integrating resources and actively exploring effective ways of technological innovation, the international exchange and cooperation of hydrogen fuel cell technology will be realized, and the popularization of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in China's commercial vehicle market will be accelerated.

Last year, Beijing and Toyota officially signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Comprehensively Deepening Strategic Cooperation between the People's Government of Beijing and Toyota. The establishment of the joint research and development company is the concrete embodiment of implementing the memorandum of cooperation, and vigorously developing hydrogen fuel cell vehicle industry is in line with the strategic positioning of Beijing. In the future, through joint research and development company to speed up the breakthrough key core technology, providing the basis for the development of hydrogen fuel cell car industry technical support, in the open sharing of Beijing, comprehensively deepen cooperation, strengthening the cooperative innovation background, the share of hydrogen fuel cell car new opportunities of development, to build a new ecological technical innovation and industrial development, to jointly open a new era in the development of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.

6月5日，为推动中国氢燃料电池汽车普及应用，中国一汽、东风汽车、广汽集团、北汽集团、丰田汽车、亿华通等六家公司签署合营合同，成立联合燃料电池系统研发（北京）有限公司，公司定位为开放式氢燃料电池系统研发平台，预计年内在京成立。

该平台由六家公司共同出资，开展满足中国市场需求的“FC电堆等的组件技术”、“ FC系统控制技术”以及“车辆搭载技术”等一系列技术研发工作。通过充分整合资源，积极探索技术创新的有效途径，实现氢燃料电池技术的国际化交流与合作，加快氢燃料电池汽车在中国商用车市场的普及。
