Recently, the world's first ultra-high altitude photovoltaic empirical experimental base project —the first batch of power generation units of the State Power Corporation Xingchuan Empirical photovoltaic power station connected to the grid, marking the official production and application of the base. Xingchuan Demonstration photovoltaic power Station is located in Dinggong Grassland, Zhengdou Township, Xiangcheng County, Garze Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with a total installed capacity of 600,000 kW. After the full capacity is connected to the grid, the annual average power generation is about 1.268 billion KWH, which is equivalent to saving about 390,000 tons of standard coal every year, reducing about 1.107 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions, and meeting the annual electricity consumption of 210,000 people.
Xingchuan Photovoltaic Demonstration Base, located at an altitude of 3,900 meters to 4,500 meters in Dinggong Grassland, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, is the largest photovoltaic power generation project in Sichuan Province, the highest photovoltaic demonstration base in China and the first ultra-high altitude photovoltaic demonstration base in the world.
"Unlike pure photovoltaic power plants, the photovoltaic empirical base is like the 'encyclopedia' of the photovoltaic industry." According to the construction project investment, the state electricity investment group of Sichuan electric power co., LTD., chairman of the board of directors, Xingchuan Empirical photovoltaic power Station has set up five empirical test areas, including photovoltaic module, inverter, bracket, energy storage device and comprehensive comparison, and adopts 127 comparison schemes. It is a scientific research platform for carrying out empirical experimental research on photovoltaic, energy storage products and new technologies. Xingchuan photovoltaic power station fills the gap of photovoltaic base in ultra-high altitude and mid-latitude area, and it is of great significance to explore the large-scale development path of photovoltaic in western Sichuan plateau and accelerate the sustainable development of energy in Sichuan province.
Tongwei modules used in the Xingchuan Demonstration photovoltaic power station project have become a strong competitor on this global competitive platform. After winning the bid in June this year for the collection of 7MW imbecile modules for the Ganzi Demonstration Project of State Power Investment Corporation, Tongwei won the bid again in September for the 44th batch of centralized bidding (the procurement of imbecile module equipment for the Ganzi Zhengdu Photovoltaic Demonstration Experimental Base Project of Sichuan Company), with the procurement capacity of 120MW high-efficiency imbecile photovoltaic modules and the reserve capacity of 50MW. The power of a single component is up to 660W.
Tongwei has successively won the fifth batch of 3GW PV module collection from China Resources Power and the third batch of PV module procurement (bid section 1) from Guangdong Power Development Co., LTD in 2022.

近日,全球首个超高海拔光伏实证实验基地项目——国家电投兴川实证光伏电站首批发电单元并网发电,标志着该基地正式投产应用。兴川实证光伏电站位于四川省甘孜州乡城县正斗乡顶贡大草原,总装机60万千瓦,全容量并网后年平均发电量约12.68亿千瓦时,相当于每年节约标准煤约39万吨,减少二氧化碳排放约107万吨,并能满足21万人口的全年用电。
兴川光伏实证基地,位于海拔3900米至4500米的四川甘孜州顶贡大草原,是目前四川省单体规模最大的光伏发电项目,也我国海拔最高的光伏实证基地和全球首个超高海拔光伏实证基地。
“不同于单纯的光伏电站,光伏实证基地就像是光伏行业的‘百科全书’。”据项目投资建设方、国家电投集团四川电力有限公司董事长周庆葭介绍,兴川实证光伏电站设置了光伏组件、逆变器、支架、储能装置、综合对比5个实证试验区,采取127种对比方案,是一个针对光伏、储能产品和新技术开展实证试验研究的科研平台。兴川实证光伏电站填补了我国光伏实证基地在超高海拔、中纬度地区的空白,对探索川西高原光伏规模化发展路径及加速四川省能源可持续发展有着深远意义。
兴川实证光伏电站项目使用的通威组件,成为这个全球竞技平台上的有力竞争者。继今年6月中标国家电投甘孜实证项目7MW叠瓦组件集采后,9月通威再次中标国家电投第四十四批集中招标(四川公司甘孜州正斗光伏实证实验基地项目叠瓦组件设备采购),采购容量为120MW高效叠瓦光伏组件,储备容量50MW,(量供)单块组件功率高达660W。
重磅加码组件以来,通威已先后拿下了华润电力第五批3GW光伏组件集采、广东省电力开发有限公司2022年第三批光伏组件(标段一)采购。
