The signing ceremony of green electricity supply for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games venues was held in Beijing. China Huadian, with its long-term commitment to clean power generation and outstanding performance, signed a contract on behalf of large power generation groups.

At the signing ceremony, China Huadian signed power purchase agreements with State Grid Beijing Electric Power Company and Hebei Electric Power Company, practicing the concept of "green Olympics" with practical actions.

It is reported that the construction and renovation of 18 venues in Beijing Area for the Winter Olympics is progressing in an orderly manner. Scientific, green and environment-friendly construction technologies are being adopted in the construction of the projects, which will closely combine the Winter Olympics with the improvement of the urban ecological environment and sustainable economic and social development. Under the deal, power companies including China Huadian will supply 100% clean energy to the Olympic venues.

In recent years, China Huadian adheres to green and sustainable development, actively develops new energy sources such as solar power, continuously develops hydropower, orderly develops distributed energy sources such as natural gas generation and gas turbine, and accelerates the transformation and upgrading of power supply structure. Up to now, the installed hydropower and natural gas power generation of the company ranks first in the same type of power generation enterprises, clean energy accounted for 39.7%.

近日，北京2022年冬奥会和冬残奥会场馆绿电供应签约仪式在京举行。中国华电凭借长期致力于清洁发电优异表现代表大型发电集团签约。

签约仪式上，中国华电与国网北京市电力公司、冀北电力公司签署购电协议，以实际行动践行“绿色办奥”理念。

据悉，冬奥会北京赛区场馆18个项目建设改造正在有序推进，工程建设采用科学绿色环保建造技术，将冬奥会与城市生态环境改善、经济社会可持续发展紧密结合起来。此次签约，包括中国华电在内的电力企业将让冬奥场馆实现100%清洁能源供电。

近年来，中国华电坚持绿色环保可持续发展，积极发展风光电等新能源，持续发展水电，有序发展天然气发电、燃机分布式能源，加快推动电源结构转型升级。截至目前，公司水电和天然气发电装机在同类型发电企业中位居首位，清洁能源占比达到39.7%。
