丰田比亚迪联手必要性

值得注意的是,工业及信息化部在6月24日已明确表示,已经废止电池供应商的建议清单,即符合条件企业目录俗称(动力电池白名单)。多家外国电池企业称借助目录放开,可望打开这一全球最大电动车电池市场的大门。

如果看清中国工信部的潜台词,则是意味着长达4年之久或者更长周期的中国动力(23.780,0.12,0.51%)电池扶植政策,伴随诸如宁德时代、比亚迪在内的一干主流企业在国际市场上站稳脚跟,将打破目前的“内外有别”的补贴格局,走向更有利中企外企同台竞争的格局。

而作为去年刚宣布放开动力电池供应,并在市场占有率上紧追宁德的比亚迪,则更有充分的理由在这个“寡头巨变”的时间段里迭代自己的核心竞争力,丰田的背书,带来的另外一层意义是:比亚迪对于其他潜在合作伙伴的“教育”工作将大幅减少。

而之于锐意改革的丰田汽车社长丰田章男而言,纯电动产品如果不能获得成本竞争力,将很难与燃油车有效地竞争,他需要在丰田体系内说服内山等旧臣完成丰田在21世纪的积极转向,而说服一帮老汽车人最好的方式——对于电动车产品而言,要获得成本竞争力,需要降低研发的分摊,降低固定资产(制造成本)的分摊和降低采购成本。

从这个层面上看,规模就会变得极端关键。这也是为何在日本市场,丰田会联合铃木、马自达、斯巴鲁、大发和日野,共同研发电动车基础平台的原因,而在中国市场,除了宁德时代以外,本土最大的动力电池出货商之一和最具制造经验的比亚迪恰恰是丰田应该选择战略合作的主要对象,这也是为什么连续多年奔驰坚持和比亚迪合作,即使在“腾势”项目出现暂时困难的情况下依旧不离不弃的原因之一,因为,放弃就意味着一无所获,而保持接触甚至在可能的空间中开展战略合作,不失为当下的传统车企在汽车四化战略转型中多点投注的妥当做法。

双方认为,为了减缓全球变暖,减少CO2排放,以进一步普及纯电动车为目标,有必要超越竞争关系的束缚,寻求共同发展,因此在纯电动车型共同开发方面达成了合作。

今后,比亚迪与丰田将结合各自在电动车和电池领域的技术积累和开发实力,致力于开发更具吸引力的纯电动车产品,推动纯电动车的进一步普及。
