It is reported that over the years, SF Express has been through scientific and technological innovation, in the container packaging, transportation, transport and other aspects of the green concept, in order to improve their own resource utilization, reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption, and practice environmental social responsibility. Sf Express "Zero carbon future" plans to integrate various green environmental protection measures, build a digital carbon management platform to build a standard carbon management system, extend the green value to the industrial chain, work with upstream and downstream partners and customers to help partners accelerate low-carbon transformation, achieve green development, and build a "zero carbon future".
With the help of science and technology, the smart carbon management platform is upgraded online
Through forward-looking layout in the frontier science and technology fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, robotics, Internet of things, logistics map, smart packaging and so on, combined with the application of new energy, SF Express will inject the power of science and technology into the full life cycle of each express, and help improve the quality and efficiency of the whole process of "receiving, transferring and distributing" and reduce carbon emissions.
In the terminal delivery link, SF Express applies self-developed large and small UAVs and intelligent UAV technology to expand the scope of business delivery and provide logistics services with high efficiency, high economy and low carbon. In the transit link, SF Express optimally allocates storage resources based on big data, and introduces a fully automated sorting and site management system to improve the efficiency of storage and transportation and improve the efficiency of energy use. In the transportation link, SF Express uses smart map for transportation route planning, combines the express time, distance and other factors, and provides the optimal path solution through intelligent algorithm. At the same time, the company relies on big data analysis and deep learning technology to integrate freight routes and capacity resources, achieve accurate matching between vehicles and goods, and improve land transportation efficiency.
In order to further promote the "zero-carbon future" plan, SF Express has built a standard carbon management system and launched a digital carbon management platform— Fenghe Sustainable Development Platform. Through the integration of the group's carbon emission and carbon reduction data, covering packaging, transportation, transit, delivery and other links, a total of more than 60 typical scenarios, more than 120 indicators. The data sources included in the platform include emission data of vehicle energy consumption, cargo aircraft energy consumption, railway transportation, site electricity consumption, cold storage coolant, employee commuting and various carbon emission reduction projects, so as to realize digital control of carbon emission data and help track the progress of carbon target completion.
Based on the standardized carbon management chassis capability of the platform, it can quickly reuse the platform capabilities to upstream and downstream partners of the industrial chain by providing carbon accounting services, standardized low-carbon logistics products, and customized low-carbon supply chain solutions, so as to help customers achieve sustainable development and jointly build a "zero-carbon future". At present, the platform has been certified by the third party authority SGS.
Carrying out innovative development and promote the application of green packaging
Sf Express firmly implemented the post industry ecological environmental protection "9917" project and express packaging management "green, reduced, recyclable, degradable" specific requirements. And increase the input of material research and development, seek the technical innovation, change and application of green packaging materials. At the same time, we continue to explore the fine operation of circular packaging, and cooperate with the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to promote the development of green packaging.
In 2021, SF Express completed the "Fengjing Plan" 2.0 upgrade, started the reduction, standardization, scene innovation and development of 8 categories of materials such as plastic bags, adhesive paper, stickers and seals. On the premise of ensuring quality, plastic bags containing recycled materials have been put into trial in 4 regions, and more than 10,000 rolls of reduced low-adhesive paper in subdivision scenarios have been put into trial. In addition, through the study of a variety of express delivery scenarios and user scenarios, the company achieved refined modification innovation of packaging material adaptation, combined with the operation procedures to limit excessive packaging, reducing the use of base paper by about 34,000 tons and the use of plastic by about 6,200 tons. In 2021, greenhouse gas emissions were reduced by a total of 279,000 tons through green packaging.
Realizing the combination of green and energy saving transport through air and land transport
Sf Express uses a combination of "green fleet" and new energy vehicles to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from each package.
In terms of land transportation, SF
Express purchases new energy vehicles, hydrogen fuel light trucks and LNG
natural gas tractors in bulk, and increases the investment and use of new
energy vehicles through a variety of ways. By the end of 2021, the delivery of
new energy vehicles had covered 215 cities. In addition, SF Express is also
exploring the promotion of natural gas vehicles.
With the leading green concept, the Huahu Airport project in Ezhou, Hubei Province, which SF Express participated in, has created a green logistics network from project design, construction and construction to project operation. The project introduces a smart energy management and control platform to realize the whole process of energy control from source to end, and uses the algorithm model to realize energy coordination and optimization, which is expected to improve the comprehensive energy efficiency of the airport by 10%, which is the first of its kind in the industry.
Working with consumers to explore the establishment of a carbon inclusive mechanism for the express delivery industry
Sf Express actively promotes the concept of environmental protection at the social level, advocates low-carbon life and improves the awareness of carbon reduction. It is hoped that both enterprises and consumers can actively participate in the use of recycling packaging, so as to reduce the waste of express delivery and make the environment more beautiful.
In 2020, SF Express put forward the "box companion plan", initiated creative carton transformation action, inspired users to transform and reuse old cartons, and passed on the environmental protection concept of turning "waste" into treasure. In 2021, SF Express's "Box" program was launched in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other places, and hundreds of thousands of limited editions of SF Express creative cartons were placed, allowing more ordinary users to participate in environmental protection actions with zero threshold and zero difficulty.

White Paper 2021" around carbon neutral and carbon peak targets, setting
more ambitious carbon reduction targets -- by 2030, its carbon efficiency will
be increased by 55% compared with 2021, and the carbon footprint of each
express package will be reduced by 70% compared with 2021 to promote green
change and create climate-friendly express delivery.

科技助力,数智碳管理平台升级上线
顺丰通过在人工智能、大数据、机器人、物联网、物流地图、智慧包装等前沿科技领域进行前瞻性布局,结合新能源应用,将科技力量注入每个快件的全生命周期,助力“收转运派”全流程的提质增效和低碳减排。
为进一步推进 “零碳未来”计划,顺丰构建了标准的碳管理体系,并上线了数智碳管理平台-丰和可持续发展平台。通过整合集团碳排放与碳减排数据,覆盖包装、运输、中转、派送等多个环节,共计60余个典型场景,120余项指标。平台纳入的数据源包括车辆用能、货机用能、铁路运输、场地用电、冷仓冷剂、员工通勤及各碳减排项目的排放数据,实现碳排放数据数字化管控,协助追踪碳目标完成进度。
基于该平台的标准化碳管理底盘能力,可通过提供碳核算服务、标准化低碳物流产品、定制化低碳供应链解决方案,将平台能力快速复用至产业链上下游伙伴,助力客户可持续发展,共筑“零碳未来”。目前该平台已获第三方权威机构SGS认证。
创新开发,推动绿色包装的落地应用
顺丰坚定落实邮政业生态环保“9917”工程和快递包装治理“绿色化、减量化、可循环、可降解”的具体要求,加大材料研发的投入,寻求绿色包装材料的技术创新、变革与应用,并不断探索循环包装精细化运营,与产业链上下游合作,促进绿色包装发展。
2021年,顺丰完成“丰景计划”2.0升级,启动对胶袋、胶纸、贴纸、封条等8大类物料的减量化、标准化、场景化创新开发。在保障品质的前提下,含有再生材料的胶袋已在4个地区陆续投放试点,细分场景下的减量化低粘胶纸也已投放试点逾1万卷。此外,公司通过对多种快递场景和用户场景的研究,实现包材适配的精细化改型创新,结合限制过度包装的操作规程,减少原纸使用约3.4万吨,减少塑料使用约6,200吨。2021年,通过绿色包装总计减少温室气体排放27.9万吨。
空运+陆运,实现绿色节能运输组合拳
顺丰通过“绿色机队”+新能源汽车的组合拳来提升能源的利用效率,减少每一个包裹的温室气体排放。
陆运方面,顺丰批量采购新能源汽车、氢燃料轻型卡车及LNG天然气牵引车,并通过多种途径加大新能源车辆的投入和使用,截至2021年底,新能源车辆投放已覆盖215个城市;此外,顺丰也在探索天然气车辆的推广应用。
顺丰参与建设的湖北鄂州花湖机场项目,以领先的绿色理念,从项目设计、建设和施工、至项目运营全流程,打造绿色物流网络:引入了智慧能源管控平台,实现能源从源端到末端的全程管控,利用算法模型实现能源协调和优化,预计可将机场综合能耗效率提高10%,属行业首例。
携手消费者,探索建立快递行业碳普惠机制
顺丰积极在社会层面推行环保理念,倡导低碳生活、提高减碳意识,希望企业和消费者都能积极参与到循环包装的使用中来,才能让快递废弃物更少,让环境更美。
顺丰于2020年起提出“箱伴计划”,发起创意纸箱改造行动,激发用户动手对旧纸箱进行改造再利用,同时传递变“废”为宝的环保理念。2021年,顺丰“箱”伴计划在上海、广州、深圳等地落地,投放了数十万个限定版顺丰创意纸箱,让更多普通用户零门槛、零难度地参与到环保行动中来。
去年6月5日世界环境日,顺丰围绕碳中和、碳达峰目标,发布业内首份《碳目标白皮书2021》,制定了更具雄心的碳减排目标——到2030年实现自身碳效率相较于2021年提升55%, 实现每个快递包裹的碳足迹相较于2021年降低70%,以推动绿色变革,打造气候友好型快递。
