On November 3, the 2022 APEC CEO China Forum was held in Beijing, at which the annual industrial case of "Sustainable Chinese Industrial Development Action" was released. JD Logistics and several well-known domestic and foreign enterprises were jointly selected. As a representative of the selected enterprises, Wang Ying, vice president of JD Group, said that sustainable development has become a global consensus. JD Group began to establish its own logistics in 2007 and formally established the logistics group in 2017. By the end of 2021, JD Logistics has completed the layout of photovoltaic power generation system for 12 Asia No.1 intelligent industrial parks, reduced the use of logistics cartons by more than 2 billion, realized 100% electronic receipt of distribution terminals, and launched large-scale use of new energy vehicles in China.
In addition, JD Logistics continues to fulfill the mission and responsibility of "responsible supply chain", and gives full play to the advantages of integrated supply chain to help the safe, stable and high-quality development of social supply chain. Over the years, JD Logistics has been actively promoting the subsidence of logistics infrastructure, helping the agricultural products of more than 1,000 producing areas in the country to rise. Its high-quality services have covered almost all the towns, villages and population in the country, vigorously promoting the universal benefits of logistics.
It is worth mentioning that the digital-real integrated supply chain created by JD Logistics is playing an important role as a "stabilizer" in assuming social responsibility. JD Logistics actively participates in the emergency support of emergencies. In recent years, it has participated in the anti-epidemic protection and supply, flood relief and earthquake relief for many times in the first place, and has urgently allocated disaster relief materials and organized rescue vehicles and drones to urgently support the front line. In addition, based on the practice of food emergency support and related infrastructure construction, JD Logistics has become one of the first national food emergency support enterprises.
