On April 13th, Yili Group Zhejiang Yili Dairy Co., LTD obtained the Carbon Neutral Verification Statement (PAS 2060) issued by Bureau Veritas, the world's authoritative international inspection and certification agency, becoming the first "zero carbon factory" in China's cold beverage industry, and the fourth "zero carbon factory" in Yili. It opens a new journey for the whole industry chain and series products of Yili cold beverage to zero carbon future.

Over the years, Yili has always attached great importance to achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality, and led the carbon reduction work of the whole industrial chain with practical actions. As early as in the first Summer Davos Forum in 2007, Pan Gang, chairman of Yili Group, took the lead in putting forward "green leadership", which was further upgraded to the "green industrial chain strategy" of Yili in 2009, advocating the trinity development concept of "green production, green consumption and green development". Since 2010, Yili has carried out a comprehensive carbon inventory for 12 consecutive years, becoming the first enterprise in the industry to carry out carbon inventory. On October 24, 2020, Yili was the first company in the industry to respond to the national "3060" double carbon target and took the lead in committing to carbon neutrality. On December 31, 2021, Yili started to build the country's first zero-carbon five-star demonstration zone -- "Hohhot Yili Modern Wisdom and Health Valley zero-carbon Five-Star Demonstration Project".

This year, the first "zero-carbon factory" in China's food industry, the first "zero-carbon milk" in China, the first two "zero-carbon factories" in China's milk powder industry and the first "zero-carbon alliance" in the industry were born in Yili successively. Recently, on April 8, Yili Group's Zero-carbon Future Plan and Yili Group's Zero-Carbon Future Plan Roadmap were officially released. Yili became the first company in China's food industry to release a dual-carbon target and roadmap. The roadmap indicates that Yili has reached the carbon peak in 2012 and will achieve carbon neutrality of the whole industrial chain before 2050.

Yili's whole-chain carbon reduction action has been highly recognized by all walks of life. On July 27, 2021, Yili, as the world's only representative enterprise case of agri-food industry, was selected into the United Nations Global Compact "Corporate Carbon Neutral Path Map". On December 3, Yili's case of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" was included in the Basic Textbook of Environment, Society and Governance (ESG) by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. On December 24, as the only dairy enterprise in China, Yili was selected as one of the "Sustainable Development Action for Zero-carbon Enterprises in China" issued by the United Nations Development Programme. Jiang Xiheng, Deputy Director of China International Development Knowledge Center, said that as a participant of the flagship research exchange project "China Strategy and Global Outlook for Achieving Peak Carbon Neutrality", we hope Yili will continue to play a leading role and further promote the implementation of the national "double carbon" goal.

多年来，伊利一直非常重视实现碳达峰、碳中和，用实际行动引领全产业链的减碳工作。早在2007年首届夏季达沃斯论坛上，伊利集团董事长潘刚率先提出“绿色领导力”，并在2009年进一步升级为伊利的“绿色产业链战略”，倡导“绿色生产、绿色消费、绿色发展”三位一体的发展理念。自2010年起，伊利连续12年开展企业内的全面碳盘查，成为行业内第一家开展碳盘查的企业。2020年10月24日，伊利在行业内第一家响应国家“3060”双碳目标，率先承诺实现碳中和。2021年12月31日，伊利启动建设全国首个零碳五星示范区——“呼和浩特·伊利现代智慧健康谷零碳五星示范项目”。

今年，中国食品行业的首个“零碳工厂”、中国首款“零碳牛奶”、中国奶粉行业前2家“零碳工厂”、行业首个“零碳联盟”先后在伊利诞生。前不久的4月8日，《伊利集团零碳未来计划》《伊利集团零碳未来计划路线图》正式发布，伊利成为了中国食品行业第一家发布双碳目标及路线图的企业，该路线图表明，伊利已在2012年实现碳达峰，将在2050年前实现全产业链碳中和。

伊利全链减碳的行动获得了各界的高度认可。2021年7月27日，伊利作为全球唯一农业食品业的代表企业案例，入选联合国全球契约《企业碳中和路径图》。12月3日，伊利“碳达峰、碳中和”案例入选中国社会科学院《环境、社会及治理（ESG）基础教材》。12月24日，作为中国乳业唯一企业，伊利案例入选联合国开发计划署发布的《走向零碳 在华企业可持续发展行动》。中国国际发展知识中心副主任蒋希蘅表示，作为“碳达峰碳中和的中国战略与全球展望”旗舰研究交流项目的参与方，希望伊利继续发挥好领军示范作用，进一步推动行业落实国家“双碳”目标。
