On November 5, 2022, the fifth China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai, attracting active participation of businessmen from all over the world. Yili, the leading dairy company, once again appeared at the CIIE and signed the "Zero-carbon Alliance Charter" with 43 global strategic partners such as Tetra Pak, Frieslandl, Kossen and Roquette. Partners in the Zero-carbon Alliance have issued their "zero-carbon proposition", adding fresh breath to the "green tide" surging at the CIIE.


Pan Gang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., LTD., said, "Only by adhering to the 'green prosperity', practicing green concepts, strengthening green management and promoting green actions, can the health food industry actively promote carbon peak, carbon neutrality, and embrace a better future of 'green mountains always stay, industry always prosper and golden mountains always stay'. The signing of the "Zero-carbon Alliance Charter" means that Yili has drawn a clearer path to promote the green and low-carbon development of the industrial chain. In the future, each partner in the alliance will focus on 'sustainable development', focusing on dual-carbon management and maximizing social value."

The year 2022 has been dubbed "the first year of zero-carbon food" by the industry. In February 2022, Yili gave birth to the first "zero-carbon factory" in China's food industry. In March, Yili released China's first zero-carbon milk. In April, Pan Gang, chairman of Yili Group, issued the "Yili Group Zero Carbon Future Plan" and "Yili Group Zero Carbon Future Plan Roadmap". Yili became the first company in China's food industry to release the double carbon target and roadmap, and proposed to achieve carbon neutrality of the whole industrial chain before 2050. Subsequently, Yili's zero-carbonated milk, zero-carbon milk powder, zero-carbon ice cream and other zero-carbon products have been launched. Yili can continue to carry out green actions and launch zero-carbon products one after another, which is inseparable from Yili's green commitment in the field of sustainable development for more than ten years.

In 2007, global carbon emissions tripled from a year earlier, raising alarm bells about the climate crisis. At that time, many enterprises blindly pursued the growth of performance and did not have a deep understanding of sustainable development. Pan Gang, the leader of Yili, realized that "sustainable ability represents the future leadership of an enterprise" and took the lead in putting forward the concept of "green leadership", which was upgraded to the concept of "green industrial chain" in 2009 to promote all links of the industrial chain to achieve green, low-carbon and sustainable development.

Since 2010, Eli has carried out carbon inventory for 12 consecutive years and compiled the Carbon Inventory Report every year. It has been the first enterprise in the industry to carry out carbon inventory for 12 years. In 2012, Yili achieved the carbon peak, and then the carbon emission decreased year by year. Taking 2010 as the base year, by 2021, Yili had reduced the carbon dioxide equivalent of 8.73 million tons, and its 23 subsidiaries were rated as national "green factories" by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In January 2022, the National Agricultural and Rural Carbon Peak Carbon Neutral Technology Innovation Alliance was established, and Yili joined it as the only dairy enterprise. After that, Yili took the lead in defining the time to achieve carbon neutrality, established a zero-carbon alliance, and launched zero-carbon products... The green pace is steadily accelerating.

To achieve the "double carbon" goal as scheduled requires the collective efforts of the whole society and all industries. Dairy industry, spanning the primary, secondary and tertiary industries, also shoulders the responsibility and mission of promoting the goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality. Yili started to take action more than 10 years ago and set a green benchmark for the development of the industry. Today, green has become a beautiful background color for the development of dairy industry, Yili will continue to lead the industry to promote the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of China's economy and society, and build a "beautiful China" and a "beautiful world".

2022年11月5日,第五届中国国际进口博览会(简称“进博会”)在上海举办,吸引着全球客商踊跃参与。乳业龙头伊利再次亮相进博会,与利乐、菲仕兰、科汉森、罗盖特等43家全球战略合作伙伴共同签署《零碳联盟章程》。零碳联盟中的各位伙伴纷纷发表“零碳主张”,为进博会涌动的“绿色潮”再添一缕清新。


内蒙古伊利实业集团股份有限公司党委书记、董事长潘刚说,“健康食品行业只有坚持‘因绿而兴’,践行绿色理念、强化绿色管理和推进绿色行动,才能积极推进碳达峰、碳中和,拥抱‘青山常在、产业常兴、金山常留’的美好未来。此次《零碳联盟章程》的签署,意味着伊利为推动产业链的绿色低碳发展描画了更清晰的路径。未来,联盟中的每一位伙伴将以‘可持续发展’为主旨,聚焦于双碳管理,实现社会价值的最大化。”

2022年被称业界称为“零碳食品元年”。2022年2月,伊利诞生了中国食品行业首个“零碳工厂”。3月,伊利发布中国首款“零碳牛奶”。4月,伊利集团董事长潘刚签发《伊利集团零碳未来计划》《伊利集团零碳未来计划路线图》,伊利成为中国食品行业第一家发布双碳目标及路线图的企业,提出将在2050年前实现全产业链碳中和。紧接着,伊利的零碳酸奶、零碳奶粉、零碳冰淇淋等多款零碳产品纷纷上市。能够持续开展绿色行动、陆续推出零碳产品,离不开伊利在可持续发展领域十几年如一日的绿色担当。

2007年,全球碳排放量同比上涨3倍,气候危机敲响警钟。彼时很多企业还一味追求着业绩的增长,对于可持续发展没有深刻认识。而伊利的掌舵人潘刚意识到“可持续的能力,代表了企业的未来领导力”,率先提出“绿色领导力”,并在2009年将其升级为“绿色产业链”理念,推动产业链各环节共同实现绿色低碳可持续发展。

2010年起,伊利连续12年开展碳盘查,每年编制《碳盘查报告》,是业内第一家开展碳盘查的企业,至今已12年。2012年,伊利实现碳达峰,随后碳排放逐年下降,以2010年为基准年,截至2021年,伊利累计减排二氧化碳当量873万吨,旗下23家分(子)公司被工信部评为国家级“绿色工厂”。2022年1月,国家农业农村碳达峰碳中和科技创新联盟成立,伊利作为唯一一家乳品企业加入其中。这之后,伊利率先明确实现碳中和时间,成立零碳联盟,推出零碳产品……绿色步伐稳中加速。

如期实现“双碳”目标,需要全社会、各行业集智慧、共努力。乳业横跨一二三产业,同样肩负着推动碳达峰、碳中和目标的责任与使命。伊利十多年前便开始付诸行动,树立了行业发展的绿色标杆。如今,绿色已成为乳业发展的靓丽底色,伊利也将继续引领行业助力中国经济社会绿色低碳高质量发展,建设“美丽中国”、增益“美丽世界”。
