The 4th Future Energy Conference on "Carbon Neutrality and Global Industrial Integration", hosted by China Energy Research Society and China Energy Net, was held in Beijing on July 20-21. The purpose of this conference is to promote the establishment of a consensus on collaborative development among the energy and carbon neutral related industries in the future, and build a cooperation platform for resource sharing, technical cooperation and strategic connectivity, so as to promote the green, efficient and sustainable development of all parties in the carbon neutral industry chain. Tbea New Energy was invited to attend this conference and participate in the sub-forum roundtable dialogue and keynote speech.
In the round table dialogue of new power system and technology innovation, Wu Jinlong, vice general manager of TBEA New Energy Company, mentioned in the dialogue: there are two main challenges of large-scale and high proportion of new energy connected to the grid: first, the difficulty of power balance limits the consumption of a high proportion of new energy; Second, the change of synchronization mechanism and fault characteristics increases the risk of system security and stability. In order to improve the power system's adaptability to new energy connection and consumption, the synergistic interaction of source network, charge and storage is the core key. For a long time, TBEA has been committed to the research and development of multi-scene power electronic equipment of "source network, charge and storage" and the application of smart energy digital platform. In terms of power supply, it provides photovoltaic power generation solutions based on 1500V high-power serialized series inverter, featuring grid-friendly, intelligent operation and maintenance, and intelligent DC fault disconnection, which further improves the revenue of photovoltaic power stations. In terms of energy storage, it has launched a safe, reliable, flexible and friendly 1500V intelligent cascading energy storage system solution with cluster-level battery management and active support functions such as primary frequency modulation, inertia response and network control. In the aspect of power grid, UHV flexible HVDC transmission solution based on no-latching overhead flexible and direct technology is provided, which lays a foundation for flexible and direct application in long-distance large-capacity overhead line HVDC transmission. In terms of digitalization, it has built three digital systems, namely photovoltaic centralized operation platform, integrated energy management platform and asset management platform, and launched advanced applications such as intelligent IV curve scanning and diagnosis and multi-time scale power prediction.
In the sub-forum of New Power System Construction and New energy system technology innovation, Sheng Junyi, Deputy General manager of TBEA Xi 'an Flexible Transmission and Distribution Co., LTD., delivered a keynote speech titled "Development and Delivery Practice of UHV Flexible Direct Converter Valve and Future Engineering Technology Outlook". Based on the design and delivery practice of the pole 1 converter valve of Kunliu Longliu North Station, the report introduces TBEA's flexible DC transmission and distribution solutions. Relying on its rich experience in the general contracting construction of photovoltaic and wind power projects and its mature R&D platform for flexible DC transmission and distribution products, it provides customers with a full range of transmission solutions for land long-distance transmission, offshore wind power access and other scenarios. Compared with traditional AC transmission, this scheme has better reliability, lower loss, lower laying cost of submarine cable, outstanding performance of cost performance and power quality. In the application scenario of offshore wind power flexible and direct outgoing transmission, TBEA proposed solutions for offshore wind power flexible and direct outgoing transmission system, including 1GW and 2GW integrated output system solutions. Compared with previous projects, converter valve equipment covers about 30% less space and reduces the weight by about 20%. Flexible DC transmission technology is adopted to connect offshore wind power and other new energy sources to the power grid friendly and reliable.
In the future, TBEA will speed up the cultivation of new products, new business forms and new drivers. By promoting the deep integration of big data, cloud computing, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence with the whole industrial chain of photovoltaic, energy storage and flexible power transmission, and taking technological innovation as the core driving force, it will persist in promoting the iterative upgrading of high-end power equipment and system solutions.
