During the construction period, more than 1,500 jobs will be provided for Indonesian personnel, and about 800 jobs will be provided for Indonesian personnel after the production is put into operation, which will effectively relieve the employment pressure in the surrounding areas of Indonesia's Big K Island, promote local economic development and realize industrial poverty alleviation. On October 12, 2016, the company acquired 60% of the equity of Shu Metal (Hong Kong) Co., LTD., to spread the green recycling industry in South Africa, promote the ultrafine cobalt powder from the domestic market to the international market, and build ESG value chain with South Africa.
