On the morning of August 9, 2022, Nanjing Tianga Energy Technology Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianga", Paulson Foundation and Southeast University Yangtze River Delta Carbon Neutral Strategic Development Institute (hereinafter referred to as "Carbon Research Institute") held an in-depth seminar in Nanjing Golden Eagle World. The participants included Yu Jiang, Chief Representative of Paulson Foundation Beijing Office, Ren Tingting, Deputy Chief Representative of Paulson Foundation Beijing Office, Jiang Xinyan, Head of Cooperation in China, Wang Qiang, Executive Chairman of Nanjing Tianga Energy Technology Co., LTD., Zhao Dongliang, Executive Vice President of CNRI, Xu Guoying, Director of Industry and Enterprise Department of CNRI and so on. Participants held heated discussions on issues related to low-carbon energy, green finance and product carbon footprint.

At the meeting, Executive Vice President Zhao Dongliang first elaborated on the basic situation of Carbon Research Institute, including organizational structure, team building, work results and so on. Then, the project director Zhong Siying introduced the working ideas and research framework of the "Carbon footprint industry-University-research" project in the air conditioning industry. Yu said that the study of carbon footprint is of great guiding significance for carbon emission reduction. He hoped that all parties will continue to leverage their advantages in low-carbon science and technology, green finance, capacity building and biodiversity on the basis of the existing cooperation and make positive contributions to the global response to climate change. Chairman Wang Qiang believed that the core of carbon neutrality is the "energy revolution", and we should adhere to independent innovation in low-carbon energy. He also expressed expectations for the "industry-university-research-funded" cooperation in geothermal, industrial waste heat, LNG cold energy, energy storage and other fields.
