On June 15, hosted by Hunan Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, the "Implement the 'Double Carbon' Action, Build a Beautiful Home" -- 2022 National Low-carbon Day Hunan Main event was held in Xiangtan City. Mr. Wu Zhixiong, member of the Standing Committee of Xiangtan Municipal Committee and Executive Vice Mayor of Xiangtan Municipal Government, Mr. Zhou Zhenhong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and Mr. Zhang Zaifeng, Chief engineer of Hunan Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, attended the event and delivered speeches. Su Shangmin, general manager of Grand Near Zero Energy Building Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the conference and forum to offer suggestions for the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of Hunan's building industry.

Government departments, industry experts, enterprise representatives and financial institutions respectively held a roundtable forum on the implementation of the "double carbon" action, focusing on three topics: the wisdom of the zero-carbon park, the energy saving of My Building Association, and testing the water of "carbon credits". Through the special program of "The Road to Carbon" of Hunan Economic Research and Development Co., LTD., they advocated low-carbon life and consumption style, and popularized the knowledge of coping with climate change. We will raise public awareness of climate change and low-carbon development, and foster and lead a new low-carbon trend.

In the forum of "My Building Energy Saving", Su Shangmin, general manager of Grand Near-Zero Co., LTD., pointed out that the total carbon emissions of the whole construction process in China accounted for a huge amount of the total carbon emissions of the country. Optimizing the building energy and vigorously developing near-zero energy buildings are important measures to quickly achieve carbon neutrality and carbon peaking.

In 2020, the total construction area of China is about 66 billion square meters. When it comes to the net-zero energy consumption reconstruction technology of existing buildings, Su Shangmin believes that the house can reduce energy consumption by 90% compared with the original one layer of Windows by changing the original one layer of Windows into three or four layers through rock wool thick thermal insulation external walls, heat insulation in the sunshade Windows outside the Windows and fresh air heat recovery. And the retrofit investment can be recouped within three to five years through energy savings. In addition, building energy saving transformation is difficult to use machines to complete, need to rely on manual work, labor intensive industry, can create more jobs for the society.

At the meeting, the transformation cases of Broad Net-Zero Company projects were also presented through videos: Hunan Provincial People's Hospital building energy consumption contracting project and Broad City building renovation project, both of which won national awards.

6月15日，由湖南省生态环境厅主办，“落实‘双碳’行动，共建美丽家园”—2022年全国低碳日湖南主场活动在湘潭市举办，湘潭市委常委、市人民政府常务副市长吴志雄、湖南省发展和改革委党组成员、副主任周震虹、湖南省生态环境厅总工程师张在峰出席活动并致辞。远大近零能耗建筑科技有限公司总经理苏尚民受邀参加会议论坛，为湖南建筑行业绿色低碳高质量发展献计献策。

政府部门、行业专家、企业代表、金融机构分别围绕零碳园区的大智慧、我的建筑会节能、试水“碳积分”三个话题展开落实“双碳”行动圆桌论坛，通过湖南经视《“碳”索之路》低碳日特别节目形式，倡导低碳生活和消费方式，普及应对气候变化知识，提高公众应对气候变化和低碳意识，培育引领低碳新风尚。

在“我的建筑会节能”论坛上，远大近零公司总经理苏尚民指出，全国建筑全过程碳排放总量占全国碳排放总量巨大，优化建筑用能，大力发展近零能耗建筑是快速实现碳中和、碳达峰的重要措施。

2020年我国建筑面积总量约660亿㎡，谈到既有建筑近零能耗改造技术，苏尚民认为，通过岩棉厚保温外墙，把原来的一层窗户改成三层或四层，窗外遮阳窗内隔热，再加上新风热回收，可使得房子比原来减少90%能耗，而且改造投资在3-5年内就可以通过节约的能源费用收回。此外，建筑节能改造使用机器难以完成，需要依靠手工作业，是劳动密集型产业，可以为社会创造更多的就业岗位。

会上，还通过视频展示远大近零公司项目改造案例：湖南省人民医院建筑能耗总包、远大城建筑改造项目，均获得国家级奖项。
