Volvo Cars is one of the world's major automobile manufacturers, this time Sunwoda has become one of the power battery products suppliers for Volvo Cars.

On the same day, Sunwoda announced that the board of directors meeting and the Board of supervisors meeting of the company reviewed and passed the motion, agreeing to invest in the construction of "Sunwoda Automotive Electronic Electric White Base Project (tentative)" in the jurisdiction of Dianbai District People's Government of Maoming City, Guangdong Province. Sunwoda Automotive Battery will set up a project company in Dianbai District to be responsible for the specific implementation of the project. As of the announcement date, Sunwoda Car Battery and Dianbai District people's government has signed the project investment agreement. The project is mainly engaged in the research and development and manufacturing of battery management system (BMS), body controller (BCM), vehicle controller (VCU) and other products, with a total investment of 4 billion yuan.

It is worth noting that since this year, Sunwoda has become a battery product supplier for many car companies.

On November 6, Sunwoda Electronics Co., LTD., its majority-owned Volkswagenwerk AG, announced that its Volkswagenwerk Electric Vehicle Battery Co., Ltd. had received a appointed notice from Volkswagenwerk AG (Volkswagen Group, hereinafter referred to as "Volkswagen") on HEV project battery pack system, making the Volkswagenwerk, Volkswagenwerk AG, as the mass production supplier of the product. On July 5, Sunwoda Electronics Co., Ltd. announced that its holding subsidiary, Sunwoda Electric Vehicle Battery Co., Ltd. recently received a designated notice from SAIC Datong Automobile Co., Ltd. about the BEV project, and will supply power battery cell products for SAIC Datong BEV project. Sunwoda said that being selected as the supplier of power battery cell products for the SAIC Chase BEV project marks an important progress in the company's BEV EV battery business and is conducive to strengthening Sunwoda's comprehensive competitive strength in the field of BEV EV batteries.

12月2日，欣旺达宣布，欣旺达控股子公司欣旺达电动汽车电池有限公司（简称“欣旺达汽车电池”）近期收到了 Volvo Car Corporation（沃尔沃汽车公司，简称“沃尔沃汽车”）关于向其供应电池电芯产品的定点通知。

沃尔沃汽车是世界主要汽车制造公司之一，本次欣旺达成为了沃尔沃汽车的动力电池产品供应商之一。

同一日，欣旺达公告称，公司董事会会议、监事会会议审议通过议案，同意子公司欣旺达汽车电池于广东省茂名市电白区人民政府辖区内投资建设“欣旺达汽车电子电白基地项目(暂定)”，欣旺达汽车电池将在电白区设立项目公司负责该项目的具体实施。截至公告日，欣旺达汽车电池与电白区人民政府已签署项目投资协议书。该项目主要从事电池管理系统(BMS)、车身控制器(BCM)、整车控制器(VCU)等产品的研发及制造，计划总投入40亿元。

值得关注的是，今年以来，欣旺达成为多家车企的电池产品供应商。

11月6日，欣旺达电子股份有限公司公告，其控股子公司欣旺达电动汽车电池有限公司于近日收到了Volkswagenwerk AG（德国大众汽车集团，以下简称“德国大众”）关于HEV项目电池包系统的定点通知，公司将作为该产品的量产供应商，为德国大众HEV项目供应动力电池包系统。
