From November 30 to December 2, the Climate Development Forum of the Global Science and Technology Impact Investment Conference 2022 (hereinafter referred to as "2022 IX Haikou Conference") was held in Haikou, Hainan Province. "At present, China's photovoltaic industry has taken a leading position in the world. It not only ranks first in the world in terms of photovoltaic product output, total installed capacity and new installed capacity, but also has cultivated the most complete photovoltaic industry chain in the world." In a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, Li Wenxue, party secretary and vice president of LONGi Green Energy, said that in order to achieve the goal of carbon neutrality, photovoltaic power will play a major role in the future, accounting for nearly 50 percent of the new power system based on renewable energy.

Not long ago, LONGi set the world record for silicon solar cell efficiency of 26.81%, which is the latest world record created five years after the Japanese company set the record for single crystalline silicon cell efficiency of 26.7% in 2017. It is also the first time for a Chinese company to set the highest silicon solar cell efficiency record so far.

Li said scientific and technological innovation has made solar energy the most economical energy for most countries and regions in the world, while the distribution of solar energy is relatively balanced around the world, and the resources are unlimited. Universal access to clean, efficient and inexpensive photovoltaic power is critical to ensuring access to affordable, sustainable and reliable clean energy for all. Therefore, he called for the advocacy of global energy equity, in the process of energy transformation, to create clean energy that everyone can use equally, and promote the energy transformation and development of a livable earth.

Terawatt era open photovoltaic will become the main force of carbon neutralization

普及光伏电力 助力全球能源公平

“目前中国光伏产业已经处于全球领先地位，不仅在光伏产品产量、装机总量、新增装机量等方面位居全球第一，也培育了全球最完整的光伏产业链。” 隆基绿能党委书记、副总裁李文学在开幕式主旨演讲中表示，为实现碳中和目标，未来光伏电力将在以可再生能源为主的新型电力系统中占比近50%，承担起主力角色。

太瓦时代开启 光伏将成碳中和主力

霍焱强调，光伏作为一种清洁、可持续的能源形式，很好解决了实现碳中和目标中的若干问题。相比其他电力类型的度电成本，光伏的经济性已经凸显，未来随着先进技术的应用和新技术的突破，光伏发电的成本还将持续下降，这也给我们使用清洁能源提供了多种可能。
