Zhuhai Huafa Group Co., Ltd. has been ranked among the "Top 500 Chinese Enterprises" for seven consecutive years. In 2022, it has been selected as one of the "Two Hundred Enterprises" of The State Council's State-owned Enterprise Reform and won the national benchmark. It has actively participated in the development of corporate standards such as Enterprise ESG Evaluation System, Enterprise ESG Evaluation Guide and Enterprise ESG Management System Requirements. Huafa will take concrete actions to implement the ESG development concept and promote green and low-carbon transformation.


On November 16, the Group Standard Press Conference of Enterprise ESG Evaluation System was held in Beijing, co-sponsored by China Economic Information Agency, China Enterprise Reform and Development Society and Capital University of Economics and Business. At the meeting, Zhuhai Huafa Industrial Co., LTD., a subsidiary of Zhuhai Huafa Group, together with leaders of China Economic Information Agency, China Quality Travel Promotion Association, China Enterprise Reform and Development Society, Capital University of Economics and Business, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, China Association of Listed Companies and other institutions jointly issued the group standard of Enterprise ESG Evaluation System. In addition, he delivered a keynote speech entitled "Shou Zheng Creates Social Value through Innovation and Fulfills the Responsibilities of State-owned Enterprises", introducing the practice and experience of Huafa Group in promoting ESG management.

ESG focuses on the development of non-financial factors such as Environmental, Social and Governance, which has become an internationally recognized concept of sustainable development. "As an important feature of high-quality development of enterprises, ESG is the core framework and system methodology to promote sustainable development of enterprises." Cao Wenzhong, vice president of China Economic Information Agency, said that with the promotion of regulatory policies and the market, Chinese enterprises continue to enhance their understanding of ESG, and practicing ESG concept has become an endogenous demand for their own pursuit of sustainable development.


On November 20, at the release of the 5th Beijing Responsibility Exhibition and Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility (2022) held in Beijing, the Enterprise ESG Evaluation Guide and Enterprise ESG Management System Requirements (group standard), which Hufa Group participated in, were officially released. The release of the standard will solve the prominent problems in China's ESG system construction, such as the lack of influence of local ESG rating and the lack of professional guidance for ESG management of Chinese enterprises.

Among them, Enterprise ESG Evaluation Guide (group standard) provides evaluation basis for enterprises to carry out ESG self-evaluation, provides useful reference for second or third party organizations to carry out enterprise ESG evaluation and certification, and contributes to the construction of China's ESG rating system. Enterprise ESG Management System Requirements (Organization standard) Establishes unified and universal ESG management system certification standards to help enterprises standardize the ESG management system and improve the ESG management capability.


On November 26, during the Boao Forum for Chinese Entrepreneurs 2022 held in Boao, Hainan Province, the group standard of "Enterprise ESG Report Compilation Guide" co-drafted by Huafa was officially released.

It is understood that the corporate ESG Report Compilation Guide group standard includes title, cover design, report compilation description, report catalog, corporate profile, corporate ESG strategic objectives and commitments, corporate ESG philosophy and governance structure, ESG practice and performance, appendix and other parts. In line with the five basic principles of authenticity, importance, science, integrity and consistency, it has great value in use.

Liu Zhaobin, president of the China Association for the Promotion of Quality, said the standard defines the core content of enterprises' ESG reports, namely 10 second-level indicators, 35 third-level indicators and 118 fourth-level indicators are designed from the three dimensions of environmental governance, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance structure. For enterprises to compile ESG report, the community standard has strong universality.


In addition, the "2022 Golden Bull Award for Responsibility" was released at the recent China Social Responsibility 100 Forum. Huafa Group won the "Golden Bull Award for Responsibility · Responsible Enterprise Award" for the third time, becoming the only state-owned enterprise at prefecture-level level to win the "Responsible Enterprise Award" in Guangdong.

The Golden Bull Award aims to set a model of responsibility, spread the concept of responsibility and explore the practice of responsibility, to recognize enterprises with outstanding performance in economic, social and environmental aspects, to provide a demonstration sample for the development of social responsibility in China, and to help promote the continuous development of social responsibility in China.

In recent years, Huafa Group has bravely assumed the responsibility of state-owned enterprises and actively created social value, which has been widely concerned and recognized by the society. Among them, in the Blue Book of Corporate Social Responsibility (2022) "Top 100 State-owned Enterprises Social Responsibility Development Index" recently released by the China Social Responsibility 100 Forum, it ranks 28th, two places higher than last year. A day before the release of the "2022 Golden Bull Award", the first ESG Golden Bull Award was released by the China Social Responsibility 100 Forum. 11月16日,由中国经济信息社、中国企业改革与发展研究会、首都经济贸易大学共同主办的《企业ESG评价体系》团体标准发布会在京召开。会上,珠海华发集团旗下珠海华发实业股份有限公司与中国经济信息社、中国质量万里行促进会、中国企业改革与发展研究会、首都经济贸易大学、国务院国有资产监督管理委员会、中国上市公司协会等单位领导共同发布了《企业ESG评价体系》团体标准,并发表了题为“守正创新创造社会价值 乘胜而上履行国企担当”的主旨演讲,介绍了华发集团在推进ESG管理方面的实践与经验。

ESG关注环境(Environmental)、社会(Social)和治理(Governance)等非财务因素的发展,已经成为国际一致认可的可持续发展理念。“ESG作为企业高质量发展的重要特征,是推动企业可持续发展的核心框架和系统方法论。”中国经济信息社副总裁曹文忠表示,随着监管政策及市场的推动,我国企业不断增强对ESG的认识,践行ESG理念成为企业自身追求可持续发展的内生需求。


11月20日,在京召开的第五届北京责任展暨企业社会责任蓝皮书(2022)发布会上,华发集团参与的《企业ESG评价指南》《企业ESG管理体系 要求》(团体标准)正式发布。标准的发布将解决中国ESG体系建设存在本土ESG评级影响力不足、中国企业ESG管理缺乏专业指引等突出问题。

其中,《企业ESG评价指南》(团体标准)为企业开展ESG自评提供评价依据,为第二方或第三方组织对企业ESG开展评价认证提供有益借鉴,为中国ESG评级体系建设贡献力量。《企业ESG管理体系 要求》(团体标准)通过建立统一、通用的ESG管理体系认证标准,帮助企业规范ESG管理体系,提升ESG管理能力。


11月26日,在海南博鳌举行的2022中国企业家博鳌论坛期间,华发股份参与起草的《企业ESG报告编制指南》团体标准正式发布。

据了解,《企业ESG报告编制指南》团体标准包含题目、封面的设计,报告的编制说明,报告目录,企业简介,企业ESG战略目标和承诺,企业ESG理念以及治理结构,ESG实践和绩效,附录等多个部分,符合真实性、重要性、科学性、完整性和一致性等五项基本原则,具有非常大的使用价值。

中国质量万里行促进会会长刘兆彬表示,该标准确定了企业编制ESG报告的核心内容,即从环境治理、企业社会责任、公司治理结构三个纬度,设计了10个二级指标、35个三级指标和118个四级指标。对企业编制ESG报告来说,该团体标准具有很强的通用性。


又讯,近期举行的中国社会责任百人论坛发布“2022责任金牛奖”,华发集团第三次获得“责任金牛奖·责任企业奖”,成为广东唯一一家荣获“责任企业奖”的地市级国企。

“责任金牛奖”旨在树立责任典范,传播责任理念,探索责任实践,以表彰在经济、社会、环境等方面履责表现优秀的企业,为中国社会责任发展提供示范性样本,助力推进中国社会责任事业不断向前发展。
