Yuanqi Forest: Make efforts to implement the overall "zero carbon" strategy

2022 is a key year for the low-carbon transformation of Yuanqi Forest.

On August 9, Yuanqi Forest and Vision Technology Group, a "zero carbon" technology company, reached a strategic cooperation, and will work together to establish an overall "zero carbon" strategy. Through three links and six carbon reduction initiatives in the whole value chain, Yuanqi Forest will help Yuanqi Forest achieve carbon neutrality in its own operations in 2025, low-carbon transformation in the upstream and downstream of the value chain, and create "zero carbon" products to lead green consumption.

At present, the two sides have carried out in-depth cooperation in many areas of carbon neutralization solutions. Based on Envision's intelligent Internet of Things operating system EnOSTM and the Ark carbon management platform, they have achieved the energy efficiency improvement of Yuanqi Forest Factory, renewable energy power generation, green electricity green certificate procurement and carbon offset one-stop carbon neutralization.

On this basis, Yuanqi Forest will build the first 360 ° digital carbon neutralization plant in Dujiangyan, Sichuan this year, and release the first batch of carbon neutralization bubble water.

Founded in 2016, Yuanqi Forest now owns bubble water, burning tea, milk tea, fiber tea, alien electrolyte water and other series of products. Its sales network has covered the whole country and has been exported to more than 40 countries and regions, including the United States, Japan and Singapore.

Receiving the industry's first carbon neutral certificate

At present, the "zero carbon" factory project of GENKI FOREST has completed 34 energy-saving and consumption reduction projects, such as automatic three-dimensional storage, feeding system, cleaning system and intelligent transformation and upgrading of bottle blowing link. In 2022, electricity bill consumption will be reduced by 25%, water bill consumption by 10% and gas bill consumption by 15% compared with the same period. In the field of clean energy, the installed capacity of photovoltaic projects in the first phase of Anhui Plant, Tianjin Plant and Guangdong Plant is 10,540 kW, with an estimated annual generating capacity of more than 11 million KWH. So far, the accumulated carbon dioxide emission has been reduced by 7,066 tons.

A total of over 400,000 square meters of rooftop distributed photovoltaic power stations, about 46MW, have been built in GENKI FOREST, which is expected to generate 40.74 million KWH of green electricity and reduce about 23,790 tons of CO2 emissions every year after it is fully put into operation. Through the establishment and operation improvement of the solid waste zero landfill system in all plants, the source production of solid waste has been reduced by about 30%. Chuzhou, Tianjin and Zhaoqing all recycle their own processes and green cleaning in their plants and provide them to municipal authorities.

At the same time, GENKI FOREST actively responds to the national Guidance on Promoting the Utilization of Sewage Resources (Development and Reform of Environmental Resources (2021) No. 13), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other six departments on the issuance of Industrial Water Efficiency Improvement Action Plan (2022) Joint Section of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology No. 72) and local policies. ,and work with local governments to maximize the use of sewage for industrial recycling, municipal utility and ecological water replenishment.

In terms of exploring "zero-carbon products", based on LCA methodology, GENKI FOREST and Vision Technology Group jointly analyzed the carbon footprint of white peach flavor sparkling water produced by GENKI FOREST Carbon neutral factory in Dujiangyan, Sichuan Province, from raw material acquisition and transportation, production and processing, to distribution and end treatment, and neutralized the water by cancelation of the same amount of emission reduction.


The offset source is Qianbei Forestry Carbon Sink Project, which meets the climate, community and biodiversity (CCB) standards, and finally obtained the "carbon neutral certification (based on PAS2060)" issued by the authoritative certification body BHOhexin, which is also the first carbon neutral certificate issued by BHOhexin in the field of beverage consumer goods. With the gradual implementation of the "zero-carbon" transformation plan, every bottle of fashion drinks produced by the "zero-carbon green code" will have a "zero-carbon green code". Consumers only need to scan the "zero-carbon green code" to see the carbon footprint of the whole life cycle of the drink.

元气森林:发力整体“零碳”战略

2022年是元气森林低碳转型的关键一年。

8月9日,元气森林与“零碳”技术公司远景科技集团达成战略合作,将携手建立整体“零碳”战略,通过全价值链3大环节6大减碳举措,助力元气森林实现2025年自身运营碳中和、价值链上下游低碳转型、并打造“零碳”产品引领绿色消费。

目前,双方在碳中和解决方案多个领域已展开深入合作,基于远景公司的智能物联操作系统EnOSTM及方舟碳管理平台,实现元气森林工厂能效提升、可再生能源电力发电、绿电绿证采购及碳抵消一站式碳中和。

在此基础上,元气森林今年将在四川都江堰建成首座360°数字化碳中和工厂,并发布首批碳中和气泡水。

获得业界首张碳中和证书

目前,元气森林“零碳”工厂项目已完成自动立体仓、投料系统、清洗系统与吹瓶环节智能化改造升级等34个节能降耗项目;2022年电单耗较同期降低25%,水单耗较同期降低10%,汽单耗较同期降低15%。清洁能源领域,安徽厂一期、天津厂、广东厂一期光伏项目装机容量10540千瓦,预计年均发电量超1100万度,目前已累计减少二氧化碳排放7066吨。

元气森林已建设屋顶分布式光伏电站共计40余万方、约46MW,全面启用后预计每年将产生4074万度绿色电力、减少约23790吨CO2排放。所有工厂通过固废零填埋体系的建立和运行改善,将固废源头产生降低约30%。滁州、天津和肇庆都已实现厂内自身工艺和绿化清洁的循环使用,并供给市政部门使用。

同时,元气森林积极响应国家《关于推进污水资源化利用的指导意见(发改环资〔2021〕13号)》、《工业和信息化部等六部门关于印发工业水效提升行动计划的通知(工信部联节〔2022〕72号)》和各地地方政策,与地方政府一起推进污水在工业循环使用、市政杂用和生态补水等方面的最大化利用。

在探索“零碳产品”方面,元气森林基于LCA方法学,联合远景科技集团对元气森林四川都江堰碳中和工厂生产的白桃味气泡水进行了从原料获取及运输、生产加工、到分销及尾端处理的全生命周期碳足迹分析,并通过注销等量减排量完成中和。


该抵消来源为黔北林业碳汇项目,满足气候、社区和生物多样性(CCB)标准,最终获得权威认证机构中标合信颁发的“碳中和认证(基于PAS2060)”,这也是中标合信在饮料消费品领域颁发的首张碳中和证书。伴随着元气森林“零碳”转型计划的逐步落地,每一瓶元气森林出品的时尚饮品都将拥有“零碳绿码”,消费者只需扫“零碳绿码”,就可以看到自己这瓶饮料全生命周期的碳足迹。
