Feng Fei, Governor of Hainan Province, attended the event and announced the completion and commencement of the project. Zhang Chuanwei, Chairman of Mingyang Group, Ni Qiang, Vice governor of Hainan Province, and Fu Xuanchao, Secretary General of Hainan Provincial Government attended the event.

It is reported that Mingyang Oriental high-end Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Base was officially settled in Dongfang City in December 2021, and the project has been maintained in the process of "land to start" speed. With a total investment of 5 billion yuan, the project is divided into two phases. The first phase of the project is mainly to produce large megawatt typhoon-resistant sea and land wind turbine hosts and large carbon glass mixed fan blades.

In addition, the two wind turbines offline on the same day are the world's first 7MW typhoon resistant floating wind turbine and the first 10MW offshore wind turbine "made" in Hainan. Among them, the 7MW typhoon-resistant floating fan customized for the far-reaching sea environment can resist the highest level of 17 typhoons. A single unit can output 36 million degrees of clean electricity every year, which can meet the normal electricity consumption of 10,000 families of three people in a year.

It is worth mentioning that the total installed capacity of the Mingyang Oriental CZ9 offshore wind farm demonstration project is 1500MW, which will be built into a multi-layer Marine energy innovation and development demonstration project of "offshore wind power + Marine pasture + hydrogen production from seawater". After being put into operation, it is expected to provide 4.95 billion KWH of green electricity to Hainan every year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 3.834 million tons. It will effectively increase the proportion of green energy and promote the construction of new power systems.

据悉，明阳东方高端装备智造基地于2021年12月正式落户东方市，项目推进过程中一直保持“拿地即开工”的速度。项目总投资50亿元，分两期建设，首期项目主要生产大兆瓦抗台风型海陆风机主机和大型碳玻混风机叶片。

此外，当天下线的双风机设备分别为全球首台7MW级抗台风漂浮式风机和首台海南“造”10MW海上大兆瓦风电机组。其中，针对深远海环境定制的7MW级抗台风漂浮式风机最高可抵抗17级台风，单台机组每年可输出3600万度清洁电能，可满足10000个三口之家一年家庭正常用电。
