On December 11, the world's largest and longest offshore typhoon-resistant blade (MySE260) was officially launched in Guangdong Shanwei Marine Energy Equipment Intelligent Manufacturing Center. This is Mingyang intelligence after June 24 this year when the longest typhoon blade in Asia, in less than six months time again refresh the record of wind turbine blade length.
Ming Yang MySE260 impeller diameter reaches 260 meters, and the blade sweeping area is about 53,092 square meters. At the same time, thanks to the application of carbon fiber material and blade zoning design, modular manufacturing and "air-bomb cutting" technology, MySE260 blade has the characteristics of light weight and high performance, its structure is safer, more reliable quality, more stable operation, with excellent typhoon resistance performance.
The person in charge of Ming Yang Intelligence revealed that MySE260 blades will be installed in the 16 MW large-capacity offshore wind turbine that will be launched this month. The unit is a heavyweight large megawatt wind turbine launched by Ming Yang Group to embrace the era of offshore wind power parity, with "large impeller diameter, large capacity, typhoon resistance, low cost, high reliability" and other characteristics. In terms of power generation capacity, based on the powerful wind catching ability of MySE260 blade, the annual power generation capacity of the wind turbine will reach 67 million kWh, which is equivalent to the total annual electricity consumption of 80,000 residents and can reduce carbon dioxide emission by 65,000 tons.
In the next few years, China's offshore wind power installed capacity compound annual growth rate will exceed 75%, offshore wind power will enter a period of rapid development. The next generation of offshore wind turbines will also develop in the direction of "large megawatt and high power". As an active advocate of the large-scale wind turbine, Ming Yang has always been in the forefront of the large-scale wind turbine at home and abroad. 2019 to date, Ming Yang has launched 8-10 MW offshore wind turbine, 11 MW offshore turbine and 12 MW semi-direct drive offshore turbine, which continue to promote the global trend of large-scale offshore wind turbine.
The MySE260 blades that have been officially launched and the 16MW wind turbines that will be launched soon will also continue to help the development of the domestic and international offshore wind power market in terms of reducing wind farm construction costs, improving economic efficiency and creating green revenue.

明阳智能负责人透露,MySE260叶片将搭载于本月下线的16兆瓦超大容量海上风电机组。该机组是明阳集团为拥抱海上风电平价时代而推出的重磅大兆瓦风电机组,具有“大叶轮直径、大容量、抗台风、低成本、高可靠性”等特点。在发电能力方面,基于MySE260叶片强大的捕风能力,该风电机组年发电量将达6700万千瓦时,相当于8万名居民的年总用电量,可减少二氧化碳排放6.5万吨。
