China Energy News released the list of Top 500 Chinese Energy Enterprises (Groups) in 2022, and GCL Group Co., Ltd. was ranked 38th.

According to an analysis written by China Energy News, in 2021, the global economy will generally recover and China's economy will continue to act as the engine of global economic growth, energy demand will continue to recover and clean energy will develop rapidly, but the contradiction between energy supply and demand will be prominent, and commodity prices such as coal, oil and gas will rise sharply across the board. As a result, the revenue scale of Chinese energy enterprises (groups) will rise sharply in 2022, market concentration will surge, the gap between state-owned enterprises and private enterprises will narrow nearly, the traditional energy industry will return to an upward trend, new energy will catch up rapidly, and the gap between regions will widen.

In 2022, the total revenue of the top 500 Chinese energy enterprises (groups) (hereinafter referred to as the "Top 500") reached 27.87 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.2 trillion yuan over the previous year, an increase of 22.93% year-on-year, the highest increase in the past nine years.

The total revenue of the top 50 enterprises is as high as 23.49 trillion yuan, accounting for a sudden increase in the proportion of the total revenue of the "Top 500" to 84.30%, 8.89 percentage points higher than the previous year, the first time more than 80%.

In terms of the number of enterprises of different scales, three companies with revenue levels reaching the trillion level are State Grid Corporation, China National Petroleum Corporation and China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation. There are 43 companies that reached the level of 100 billion, an increase of 3 companies compared with the previous year. There are 204 companies that have reached the level of 10 billion, 42 more than the previous year, exceeding 200 for the first time. The higher up the development, the higher the difficulty factor for enterprises to cross the development level.

《中国能源报》撰文分析显示：2021年，全球经济总体复苏，中国经济继续担当全球经济增长引擎，能源需求持续恢复，清洁能源快速发展，但能源供需矛盾突出，煤、油、气等大宗商品价格全面大幅攀升。受此影响，2022年中国能源企业（集团）营收规模大幅上升，市场集中度猛增，国有企业与民营企业间差距近一步缩小，传统能源行业重回上升趋势，新能源快速追赶，区域间差距拉大。

2022年，中国能源企业（集团）前500企业（以下简称“500强”）营收总额达27.87万亿元，较上年增加5.2万亿元，同比增长22.93%，创近9年来最高增幅。

前50强企业营收总额高达23.49万亿元，占“500强”营收总额的比重突增至84.30%，较上年提高8.89个百分点，首次超过8成。

从不同规模企业数量上看，营收水平达到万亿级别的有国家电网有限公司、中国石油天然气集团有限公司、中国石油化工集团有限公司三家公司。达千亿级别的有43家，较上年增加3家。达到百亿级别的有204家，较上年增加42家，首次突破200家。越往上发展，企业跨越发展级别的难度系数越高。
