China Energy Storage Network learned that on December 18, 2022, Sinosoar Microgrid (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. successfully won the tender for the 26-island Raa&Baa PV- diesel-battery storage microgrid project in atoll Maldives.

This project is the third microgrid project won by Sinosoar in the Maldives. By the time this new project is awarded, the total number of project islands in the Maldives has reached 64 for Sinosoar.

The 26-island PV-diesel-battery storage microgrid project in atoll Maldives won by Sinosoar is part of the Maldives Government's outer island sustainable energy development project (POISED), with a total installed PV capacity ranging from 175kWp to 500kWp, and a total installed PV capacity of 8MWp and 12MWh of energy storage upon completion of all 26 islands.

Sinosoar will be responsible for the design and construction of the PV-diesel-battery storage microgrid system in 26 islands, the upgrade of existing power stations and the transformation of the original single diesel power generation into optical diesel storage microgrid system for power supply. The project adopts the EMS energy management system and SP series energy storage products developed by Sinosoar, which organically combine the PV system, diesel power generation system and energy storage system, realizing the multi-energy complementary, efficient and green operation, and ensuring the safety and stability of the island power system.

储能中国网获悉，2022年12月18日，中腾微网（北京）科技有限公司成功中标马尔代夫26个岛Raa&Baa环礁光柴储微电网总承包项目。

该项目是中腾微网在马尔代夫地区中标的第三个微电网项目，截止此次新项目中标，中腾微网在马尔代夫的项目岛总数量已达到64个。

此次中腾微网中标的26个岛环礁光柴储微电网项目和之前承接的项目同属于马尔代夫政府的外岛可持续能源发展项目（POISED）的一部分，项目单体光伏装机量从175kWp至500 kWp不等，待26个岛全部完工后总计光伏装机量为8MWp，储能装机量达到12MWh。

中腾微网将负责该项目中26个岛屿的光柴储微电网系统的设计和建设、现有电站的升级改造以及将原有的单柴油发电改造成光柴储微电网系统供电这几部分工作。此次项目采用了中腾微网自主研发的EMS能量管理系统以及SP系列储能产品，使光伏系统、柴油发电系统和储能系统有机的结合起来，既实现了多能互补，高效绿色的运行，又保障了岛屿电力系统的安全与稳定。
