With the implementation of the "double carbon" strategy, the development of hydrogen energy industry in China has entered the fast lane. As one of the core cities of the five hydrogen fuel cell vehicle demonstration cities, Beijing leads the country in the development of hydrogen vehicle industry.

Over the past year, since the construction of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration Urban Agglomeration was launched, hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in Beijing have covered a variety of vehicles, such as public transport, group buses, sanitation, cold chain, dregs, traction, logistics and so on, with a wide range of application scenarios and a mature market. The cumulative mileage of vehicles exceeded 20 million kilometers, and the cumulative carbon reduction was about 15000 tons, exceeding the target of the first year.

Among the many models, hydrogen buses that directly serve the lives of citizens have attracted the most attention. At present, there are 217 hydrogen buses in operation in Beijing, of which 212 are refitted from service vehicles for the Beijing Winter Olympics and the Winter Paralympic Games. As of October 20, the total mileage of hydrogen buses in the capital has exceeded 6 million kilometers, providing a new way for citizens to travel low-carbon.


Hydrogen fuel cell engines, the "heart" of these hydrogen buses, are all from Sinohytec, which have successfully withstood the rigorous test of the "Winter Olympics Standard". In order to meet the needs of severe cold and steep slope driving during the Winter Olympics, Sinohytec continued to conduct technical tests to improve product performance. In January 2020, it joined hands with automobile companies to conduct an extremely cold test in Yakeshi. The hydrogen fuel cell bus was placed in an environment of -30 degrees Celsius for more than 8 hours, and then conducted an ultra-low temperature cold start test. It was successfully started in 116 seconds. This excellent performance of low-temperature start-up not only helps China to create the world's first large-scale hydrogen fuel bus service sports events, but also has great significance for the large-scale promotion of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in the northern region.


Hydrogen buses also have the advantages of long endurance, zero pollution and low noise. Take the 919 bus line from Yanqing to Deshengmen as an example, the whole journey is 80 kilometers, with an average daily operation of 2 to 3 round trips, and hydrogen can be added once every two days. The fuel consumption of the 12-meter-long 919 bus corresponding to the diesel bus is about 23 L per 100 kilometers, the hydrogen consumption of the equivalent fuel cell bus is about 6 kg per 100 kilometers, and the carbon reduction of 100 kilometers is about 60 kg. According to the annual operation of 60000 kilometers, the annual carbon reduction of a hydrogen bus is 36 tons, and the annual carbon reduction of more than 200 hydrogen buses is nearly 8000 tons.

With the development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei hydrogen fuel cell vehicle demonstration city group, Sinohytec will join hands with industry partners to improve the hydrogen energy industry ecology and contribute to the development of hydrogen energy industry.

京津冀氢燃料电池汽车示范城市群启动建设一年来,北京市氢燃料电池汽车已覆盖公交、团体班车、环卫、冷链、渣土、牵引、物流等多种车型,应用场景广泛、市场渐趋成熟。车辆累计行驶里程超过2000万公里,累计减碳约1.5万吨,超额完成首年任务目标。

在众多车型中,直接服务市民生活的氢能公交车最受瞩目。目前北京市投入运营的氢能公交车共有217辆,其中212辆由北京冬奥和冬残奥会赛事服务车辆改装而来。截止10月20日,首都氢能公交车累计行驶里程已超过600万公里,为市民低碳出行提供了新途径。


这批氢能公交车的“心脏”——氢燃料电池发动机,均来自亿华通,他们曾成功经受了“冬奥标准”的严苛考验。为满足冬奥期间严寒、陡坡行驶等场景需求,亿华通持续进行技术测试以提升产品性能。2020年1月携手车企在牙克石进行极寒测试,氢燃料电池客车在-30℃的环境下,放置超过8小时后,进行超低温冷启动测试,116秒成功启动。这种低温启动的优异性能,不但助力我国开创全球首次大批量氢燃料客车服务体育赛事的先河,也对北方地区规模化推广氢燃料电池汽车具有重大意义。


氢能公交车还具有续航久、零污染、低噪音等优势。以从延庆到德胜门的919公交线路为例,全程80公里,日均运营2至3个往返,每2天加一次氢即可。12米长的919公交车对应柴油公交百公里油耗约23L,对等车型燃料电池公交百公里氢耗约6kg,百公里减碳约60kg。按照年运营6万公里计算,一辆氢能公交车年度减碳达36吨,200余辆氢能公交年度减碳近8000吨。
