From 2021 to 2022, China Merchants Bank has been awarded "A" rating for two consecutive years, and is at an excellent level in the domestic listed banks. More than that, on September 23, S&P Global, an international authoritative index agency, announced the score of China Merchants Bank's Sustainable Development Assessment (CSA) in 2022. China Merchants Bank ranked first among the large and medium-sized listed banks in China that have published the results.

ESG is an enterprise evaluation system that takes into account economic benefits, environmental and social impact and corporate governance. MSCI-ESG rating and S&P Global are two authoritative and highly credible ESG rating systems, which have become an important basis for global investors to make investment decisions and data analysis. In recent years, China Merchants Bank has won many awards in the field of ESG, which means that while China Merchants Bank has achieved commercial value, its social value has been increasing year by year, and it has been widely recognized by domestic and foreign media and rating agencies.
