Recently, the GWH252-16MW offshore wind turbine developed by Goldwind Technology in cooperation with Three Gorges Corporation was successfully launched in Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power International Industrial Park. The unit once again refreshed the world's largest single unit capacity, the world's largest impeller diameter, and the lightest weight per megawatt.


Why has it attracted much attention? The impeller diameter of the 16MW wind turbine generator set rolled off the production line is 252 meters, and the swept area of the impeller is about 50,000 square meters, which is equivalent to about 7 standard football fields. The hub height is 146 meters, which is equivalent to the height of a 50-storey building. It means that from land to sea, the development of China's wind power industry has broken through many problems such as transportation, design, operation and maintenance, and achieved a better and more stable breakthrough.

In view of many challenges such as salt fog and biological corrosion of offshore wind power, Liangxin Electrical offshore wind power products adopt special anti-corrosion technology in the main current-carrying metal parts, secondary control contacts and other structures to build a comprehensive protection system, which will enhance the utilization efficiency of renewable energy to a new height.

From the point of view of power generation, the off-line wind turbine can generate 34.2 kilowatt-hours per rotation under rated conditions, with an average annual output of more than 66 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity, which can meet the annual domestic electricity consumption of 36000 families of three, save about 22000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 54000 tons.

Since the cooperation, the two parties have continuously carried out research and practice in wind power application, and Liangxin Electrical has successively provided one-stop intelligent electrical system solutions for Goldwind Shandong Changyi Offshore Wind Power Project, Inner Mongolia Wulanchabu Wind Power Base Project and Xinjiang Dabancheng Wind Power Base. 近期,金风科技与三峡集团合作研发的GWH252-16MW海上风电机组在福建三峡海上风电国际产业园成功下线。该款机组再度刷新全球最大单机容量、全球最大叶轮直径、单位兆瓦最轻重量纪录。


为何备受关注?此次下线的16MW风电机组叶轮直径252米,叶轮扫风面积约5万平方米,约相当于7个标准足球场;轮毂高度146米,相当于一座50层大楼的高度,意味着从陆上到海上,我国风电行业发展突破了运输、设计、运维等多项难题,实现了更优、更稳的突破。

从发电量上来看,此次下线风电机组在额定工况下,单台机组每转动一圈可发电34.2千瓦时,平均每年可输出超过6600万千瓦时的清洁电能,能够满足3.6万户三口之家一年的生活用电,可节约标准煤约2.2万吨,减排二氧化碳约5.4万吨。
