The First Ammonia-Hydrogen Fuel Cell Bus in China Is Officially Launched!
全国首辆氨氢燃料电池客车正式启动!

On January 6, the launching and signing ceremony of the first ammonia-hydrogen fuel cell bus in China, jointly built by Fuzhou Zijin Company and Jinlong Bus, was held at Fuzhou University.


At the launching ceremony, Chen Guolong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Fuzhou University, Ye Bihai, Vice Director of Fujian Science and Technology Department, Chen Feng, Vice General Manager of Fuqi Group and Longyi, Vice President of Zijin Mining Group, delivered speeches respectively. In their speeches, the leaders pointed out that in line with the concept of "Win-Win Cooperation", all parties should give full play to the respective brand, resources and technological advantages of the government, enterprises and universities, and focus on the commercial application of "ammonia-hydrogen" energy in fuel cell vehicles in the field of transportation, which is of great significance for accelerating the development of the new generation of "zero carbon" energy industry in China and ensuring national energy security. Subsequently, under the witness of the leaders and guests, Fuda Zijin Company and Jinlong Bus signed a cooperation agreement on the development of new models of ammonia-hydrogen energy buses.


It is reported that the launching and signing ceremony of the bus is to further implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, promote clean, low-carbon and efficient use of energy and clean and low-carbon transformation in the field of transportation, so as to help achieve the goal of "double carbon".

The major technical research of this multi-party cooperation mainly relies on the technical advantages of Fuda Zijin Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd., jointly established by Zijin Mining Group, Fuzhou University and Haixin Energy Technology, in the field of green ammonia hydrogen catalysis, which provides an important technical path for the commercialization of ammonia hydrogen energy in the field of automotive fuel cells. The technology uses liquid ammonia as safe and efficient fuel filling, realizes the production and use of hydrogen energy in automobiles by coupling low-temperature ammonia hydrogen production and hydrogen fuel cell technology, and adopts advanced vehicle structure, all-weather real-time safety monitoring system and reliable hydrogen supply safety protection system. It has multiple advantages such as "short filling time, long endurance mileage, safety and efficiency, energy saving and environmental protection".

启动仪式上,福州大学党委书记陈国龙、福建省科技厅副厅长叶碧海、福汽集团副总经理陈锋、紫金矿业集团副总裁龙翼分别致辞。领导们在致辞中指出,各方本着“合作共赢”的理念,发挥政府、企业和高校各自的品牌、资源和技术优势,聚焦“氨-氢”能源在交通领域燃料电池汽车的商业化推广应用,对加速国内新一代“零碳”能源产业发展和保障国家能源安全具有重要意义。随后,在与会领导、嘉宾的见证下,福大紫金公司和金龙客车签订了氨氢能源客车新车型开发合作协议。
