At the end of December 2022, the Yangtze River Power Green Power Green Hydrogen Demonstration Project successfully produced 99.999% high-purity hydrogen. The project adopts the leading PEM electrolytic hydrogen production technology of Sungrow Hydrogen Energy, and will provide hydrogen production and hydrogenation services for the first 500 kw hydrogen fuel cell powered boat in China.

Yangtze Power Green Power Green Hydrogen Demonstration Project adopts the construction mode of hydrogen production and hydrogenation integrated station, and constructs hydrogen production and hydrogenation station in Yangjiawan Wharf on the right bank of the Three Gorges Dam Area, providing hydrogenation services for the first inland river hydrogen fuel cell power working ship "Three Gorges Hydrogen Boat No.1" and tourist buses in the Three Gorges Dam Area. The application of this project marks a new step in the application of key technologies of hydrogen fuel cell ships in China, and will further promote the exploration and application of hydrogen energy technology in inland river ships.
