Recently, Volkswagen Automobile Group (China) joined hands with Huayou Cobalt Industry's Jiangsu Huayou Energy Technology Co., Ltd. to launch a pilot project of "30 KW 78KWh Full Time Domain Active Balanced Cascade Mobile Energy Storage System" based on Volkswagen's after-sales retired power batteries to deepen the industrial chain layout of the whole life cycle of power batteries. This project is another important cooperation between Volkswagen Automobile Group and Huayou Cobalt Industry in the value chain of battery industry after they announced the joint layout of battery raw material supply chain in March this year.
The "30kW78kWh Full Time Domain Active Balanced Cascade Mobile Energy Storage System" released this time is based on the retired ternary power batteries of Volkswagen Automobile Group, and uses Huayou's patented technologies such as rapid sorting technology of retired power batteries, efficient and safe BMS management technology, and full time domain equalization technology. While maintaining the original battery pack structure, Volkswagen Automobile Group (China) and Jiangsu Huayou have jointly tailored a digital control system for cascade battery applications to ensure the safe operation of energy storage equipment. The product has the functions of power supplement, capacity increase, peak shaving and valley filling, emergency power consumption and so on, and can achieve optimal power operation through intelligent matching.
The
energy storage system will first be put into use in Huayou Cobalt Factory, and
it is planned to gradually expand to the production base of Volkswagen
Automobile Group in China in the future. This project is also another
exploratory development of Volkswagen Automobile Group (China) and Jiangsu
Huayou for the retired power battery market. Previously, the two sides had used
Volkswagen's retired power batteries to build low-speed two-wheeled vehicle
cascade batteries and launched pilot products.

日前,大众汽车集团(中国)携手华友钴业旗下江苏华友能源科技有限公司,发布基于大众汽车售后退役动力电池打造的“30KW78KWh全时域主动均衡梯次移动储能系统”试点项目,深化动力电池全生命周期产业链布局。该项目是大众汽车集团和华友钴业继今年3月宣布共同布局电池原材料供应链后,在电池产业价值链的又一项重要合作。
此次发布的“30kW78kWh全时域主动均衡梯次移动储能系统”基于大众汽车集团退役三元动力电池打造,并使用了华友的退役动力电池快速分选技术、高效安全的BMS管理技术、全时域均衡技术等专利技术。在保持原有电池组结构的同时,大众汽车集团(中国)与江苏华友共同为梯次电池应用量身打造了数字化控制系统,保证储能设备的安全运行。该产品兼具电力补充、需量增容、削峰填谷、应急用电等功能,可通过智能匹配实现最优电力运行。
该储能系统将首先在华友钴业厂区内投入使用,未来也计划逐步拓展至大众汽车集团在华的生产基地。这一项目也是大众汽车集团(中国)与江苏华友面向退役动力电池市场的又一次探索性开发。此前,双方曾利用大众汽车退役动力电池打造低速两轮车梯次电池,并推出试点产品。
