Recently, the Green Energy Innovation Laboratory, jointly established by ZTE Corporation and China Unicom, was officially inaugurated at the ZTE Corporation Shanghai Research and Development Center. Mr. Shi Rong, Vice President of ZTE Corporation, and Mr. Zhang Taoye, General Manager of China Unicom's Smart Internet Innovation Center, jointly attended the unveiling ceremony.

With global climate change exacerbating, energy conservation and emission reduction have become the common direction for enterprises to explore and strive towards. ZTE Corporation actively responds to the national "dual carbon" strategy, proposing the concept of "perfect efficiency curve" and introducing key technologies such as "zero carbon" base stations and Hi-RAN energy saving, dedicated to building a green and low-carbon network to assist in achieving the "carbon neutrality" and "peak carbon" strategies. As a leading force in the field of information and communication, China Unicom firmly implements the Party Central Committee's decision-making arrangements on ecological civilization construction and comprehensively implements the new development concept. Based on the shared goal in the direction of green and low-carbon development, the two parties jointly established the Green Energy Innovation Laboratory, aiming to gather their respective advantageous resources, jointly promote the research and development as well as the application of new technologies and products, drive the construction of a green and low-carbon network, and contribute to the dual carbon goals, fulfilling their social responsibilities.

During the unveiling ceremony, the two parties engaged in in-depth exchanges on energy-saving innovation technologies such as AAU automatic start-stop, high-speed rail arrival recognition for energy saving, distributed point control, and BBU wind-liquid hybrid cabinets. Subsequently, suitable commercial networks will be selected as experimental bases to advance the commercial application of more innovative energy-saving technologies, further achieving energy conservation and emission reduction goals in the communication field, and contributing to the cause of green and low-carbon development.

全球气候加剧变暖，节能减排已经成为各企业共同探索努力的方向。中兴通讯积极响应国家“双碳”战略，提出能效“完美曲线”概念，并推出了“零碳”基站、Hi-RAN节能等关键技术，致力于打造绿色低碳网络，助力实现“碳中和、碳达峰”战略。中国联通作为信息通信领域的“国家队、主力军、排头兵”，坚决贯彻落实党中央关于生态文明建设的决策部署，全面贯彻新发展理念。基于在绿色低碳方向的一致目标，双方联合成立了绿色节能创新实验室，旨在汇聚双方优势资源，共同推进新技术、新产品的研发和应用落地，推动构建绿色低碳网络，助力双碳目标，履行社会责任。

揭牌仪式期间，双方就AAU自动启停、高铁来车识别节能、室分点控、BBU风液混合柜等方面的节能创新技术进行了深入的交流。后续将选取合适的商用网络作为试验基地，推进更多创新节能技术的商用落地，在通讯领域实现更进一步的节能减排目标，为绿色低碳事业贡献一份力量。
