The frequent back-and-forth transportation, continuous uphill climbs in mines, and extreme conditions of heavy-duty continuous operation pose stringent demands on the power systems of mining trucks. Sungrow has developed motor controllers specifically for heavy-duty trucks and construction vehicles, featuring flexible power expansion, high reliability, and adaptability to various scenarios. This year, hundreds of XCMG new energy mining trucks equipped with these controllers have been deployed to the western Gobi Desert, contributing to the construction of green mines. The series of electronic control products are developed based on a platform, allowing flexible adaptation to various driving modes. They can utilize dual-module parallel drive for high-power single motors, as well as achieve dual-motor control for extended range or multi-motor drive, providing customized solutions for vehicles in different operational scenarios. Additionally, they are compatible with dual 450A, 600A, and 900A modules, enabling expandable main drive power output to meet the power demands of vehicles with different load capacities. The products also support IP68-level protection and 6g anti-vibration requirements, meeting the operational needs of vehicles in harsh environments and ensuring uninterrupted operation.
Sungrow has collaborated with XCMG, Sany, Geely Farther, Hongyan, Beiben, Jiefang, and FAW in the development of electrification for heavy-duty trucks and construction machinery, providing electronic control products and solutions for pure electric, hybrid, extended-range, and fuel cell vehicles.
