On December 20th, Onewo held a public welfare training event in Shenzhen, officially announcing the milestone achievement of the "G4 Action" in "Lighting Up Shenzhen," aiming to enable more people to win the golden four minutes. The event marked the first implementation of AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices in all managed residential communities in Shenzhen, as well as the complete coverage of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) skills for frontline service providers.
G4 Action Illuminates Shenzhen Scene
The on-site launch of the G4 Action in Shenzhen was led by Xiao Minqi, General Manager of Onewo's Shenzhen office. As of November 30, 2023, Vanke Property has taken the lead in equipping over 800 AED devices in more than 140 managed residential communities in Shenzhen, serving nearly 530,000 homeowners, with a coverage density of approximately 153 devices per 100,000 people. This makes Vanke Property the first residential property management service provider to achieve full AED coverage in Shenzhen.

During this year's "World First Aid Day," Onewo officially announced the "G4 Action" as a special social responsibility project aimed at enhancing the emergency rescue capabilities of service providers in various service spaces.
The success of "Lighting Up Shenzhen" would not have been possible without the guidance and support of the Shenzhen Municipal Health Commission, the Shenzhen Emergency Management Bureau, the Shenzhen Emergency Center, and the Shenzhen Urban Public Safety Technology Research Institute (referred to as "Shenzhen Urban Safety Institute"). Through collaboration with the Wanxing Public Welfare Fund and Tencent's Sustainable Social Value Division (SSV), Onewo has contributed to addressing the significant public health issue of "out-of-hospital cardiac arrest rates" in Shenzhen, supporting the city in setting a national benchmark for emergency rescue work.
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in government and public attention to public emergency rescue. With the implementation of policies such as the 2019 National Health Commission's guidelines for AED deployment in public places, the construction of public emergency rescue facilities and public awareness of emergency rescue in first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen has made initial progress.
Tong Han, General Manager of Urban Safety Culture at the Shenzhen Urban Safety Institute, pointed out that since collaborating with Onewo to create the "Peaceful Community" project, they have been deeply exploring and practicing in the field of emergency rescue, including ongoing community activities such as knowledge dissemination, skill learning, and first aid experiences, bridging the "last mile" of emergency rescue training.

In his address, Hu Hanhan, Deputy General Manager of Tencent's SSV Social Emergency Laboratory, expressed Tencent's proactive role in leveraging its "technology for good" capabilities. In 2023, Tencent partnered with Onewo to bring emergency aid into communities, participating in AED donations and integrating one-touch emergency call capabilities into the "Live Here" app. This allows homeowners to make one-touch video emergency calls, enabling property management to respond quickly, and facilitating the coordinated deployment of certified volunteers and AED devices to the scene, creating a community-level "golden rescue circle." They look forward to, along with the "G4 Action," lighting up more cities in 2024.

Onewo Chairman Zhu Baoquan stated that there is a difference between obtaining training and certification for emergency rescue and being willing to put it into practice. He and a group of employees who have successfully saved 19 lives since 2022 shared their experiences. They found that timely intervention was possible in two key areas: first, in community spaces, where good relationships between property managers and homeowners allowed for swift and appropriate rescue actions within the crucial "golden four minutes." Second, the company's culture encourages and provides support, enabling employees to confidently provide aid in public spaces rather than being mere bystanders. Additionally, Zhu Baoquan pledged to donate all the royalties from his new book "We Haven't Finished This Generation Yet" to equip AEDs in property projects, facilitated through the Wanxing Public Welfare Foundation. This will allow even former employees to participate and enable more volunteers to become rescuers. Looking ahead, he anticipates the G4 Action will have a significant "multiplier effect," with more individuals and public welfare organizations getting involved.

Since 2022, there have been three instances in Shenzhen where Onewo service providers have used CPR to save lives. Nationwide, over 39,000 employees of Onewo have received CPR certification, resulting in 19 life-saving incidents.
One recent incident occurred on the morning of December 9th at Beijing Capital International Airport's T3 terminal. A man suddenly collapsed unconscious, with his tongue bitten and bleeding. His family members were distressed and shouting for help. At that moment, a man wearing headphones set aside his luggage, cleared the crowd, inquired about the situation, and then began performing CPR, guiding the family in providing artificial respiration, and requesting airport staff to bring an AED for assistance. Approximately 10 minutes later, the unconscious man regained consciousness, and medical staff arrived at the scene. The man who had been rescued then rushed to catch his flight, with only 2 minutes left before the gate closed.
The incident was captured on video and shared online, with netizens praising the calm and professional actions of the man who provided assistance, affectionately referring to him as "Headphone Guy." The video of the rescue was reported by official media such as The Paper, Beijing Time, and Qilu Evening News, as well as being shared by popular social media figures.
The "Headphone Guy," the airport hero sought after by the entire internet, is none other than Sun Qimeng, who served in the military for 8 years and is now a site manager for Onewo in the Guangzhou area. The CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) technique he used to save the man's life is a mandatory course for Onewo's space service providers.
The course includes training in the use of AED devices, chest compressions, and artificial respiration. In addition to completing designated courses, students must also engage in practical exercises.
CPR training certification site
In addition to space service providers, the Shenzhen Urban Safety Institute has collaborated with Onewo on multiple occasions to conduct training activities in communities. In this public welfare training event, a professional and authoritative CPR training certification was provided for nearly 40 media and enthusiastic individuals, aiming to appeal to various sectors of society to collectively strive to "win the golden four minutes" through multiple channels, earning the praise of participating media.
