Released globally in both Chinese and English, the case collection systematically showcases the innovative practices of ordinary Chinese people in practicing green development in daily life, business, and public spaces, providing a replicable Chinese solution for global ecological civilization construction and climate governance.

该案例集以中英文双语形式面向全球发布，系统展现了中国普通民众在生活、商业与公共空间中践行绿色发展的创新实践，为全球生态文明建设与气候治理提供了可借鉴的中国方案。

Chongqing Design Group · Chongqing Institute of Architectural Design Co., Ltd.'s case "Volunteer Leadership for User Comfort and Co-Governance, Data-Driven Precision in Carbon Reduction Results — Chongqing Institute of Architectural Design's 'People-Centered · Data-Driven' Operational Carbon Reduction Practice Paradigm" was successfully selected. It is the only case from Chongqing to be included and marks the first time the institute has showcased the practice paradigm of western China on the global climate governance stage, highlighting the company's leading position as a western industry benchmark in the field of low-carbon building operations.

The 30th UN Climate Change Conference (COP30) is the core global climate event in 2025, attracting approximately 60,000 participants, including dignitaries, scientists, and business representatives from over 140 countries and international organizations. Marking the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, COP30 is regarded as a key milestone in launching the "Decade of Accelerated Climate Action." From Chongqing, China to Belém, Brazil: A Dual-Driven Carbon Reduction Paradigm

Chongqing Institute of Architectural Design's "People-Centered · Data-Driven" operational carbon reduction practice paradigm originated from the innovative practices after the commissioning of the institute's Research and Design Building. With the support of the Chongqing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission, the company has built a dual-driven carbon reduction model of "system guidance + data-driven" based on the concept of "co-governance and shared benefits":

从中国重庆到巴西贝伦：双轮驱动的减碳范式

重庆市设计院“以人为本·数据驱动”的运营减碳实践范式”，源自重庆市设计院建研楼启用后的创新实践。在重庆市住房和城乡建设委员会支持下，公司以“共治共享”为理念，构建了“制度引导+数据驱动”的双轮减碳模式：

- At the system level: Established a low-carbon operation volunteer team and compiled the "Low-Carbon Operation Guidelines for the Research and Design Building," guiding over 200 users to develop low-carbon habits in three key areas: lighting, air conditioning, and office behaviors.

- At the technical level: Conducted building energy audits to analyze carbon emission characteristics, precisely adjusted the operation hours of garage lighting and landscape lighting, and optimized space comfort through user satisfaction surveys.

在制度层面，组建低碳运营志愿队、编制《建研楼低碳运营指南》，从照明、空调、办公行为三大维度，引导200余名使用者养成低碳习惯；

在技术层面，通过建筑能源审计分析碳排放特征，精准调整车库照明、景观照明运行时长，同时结合使用者满意度调查优化空间舒适度。

The result is a win-win situation for "carbon reduction" and "user experience" — the carbon emission intensity per unit building area of the institute's Research and Design Building has decreased by 6.05%, while user satisfaction has increased by 10%.

最终实现“减碳”与“体验”双赢——重庆市设计院建研楼单位建筑面积碳排放强度降低6.05%，使用者满意度提升10%。

This practice paradigm has not only helped the institute's Research and Design Building win numerous industry awards in recent years but also further strengthened the company's technical capability of "being driven by real data" in the green and low-carbon field.
