Recently, the winning projects of the 2022 BRICS Sustainable Development Goals Solutions Competition were announced. ZTE's participating projects "China Southern Power Grid 5G Digital Grid Demonstration Zone" and "Embracing the Ocean with Data" won the excellence awards in the categories of technological innovation and application, environmental protection and clean energy use, respectively.

With the theme of "Embracing the Ocean with data", ZTE Marine Big Data provides big data platform products with low application threshold to the Marine field. Platform users can comprehensively control and efficiently apply multi-dimensional Marine information such as Marine environmental monitoring, Marine ecological protection, Marine disaster prevention and control, Marine planning and construction, and maximize the value of Marine data. The Marine big data application support platform will have important application value and promotion significance in the Marine electronic information industry.

The project of China Southern Power Grid 5G Digital Grid Demonstration Zone was established by China Southern Power Grid, China Mobile and ZTE in Nansha District of Guangzhou. As the largest digital grid demonstration area of China Southern Power Grid, with a planned area of 103 square kilometers, it comprehensively incubates and verifies 54 types of business scenarios, and carries out 5G+ digital grid application innovation in various links of power generation, transmission, transformation, distribution and use. So far, 3,100 5G terminals have been put online, forming a large-scale demonstration effect.

The BRICS Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) Solutions Competition is an important exchange event initiated by the BRICS Business Council. It aims to promote cooperation and exchange among BRICS countries by sharing best practices and best solutions in related fields.

中兴通讯海洋大数据以“用数据拥抱海洋”为主题，向海洋领域提供低应用门槛的大数据平台产品。平台用户能够对海洋环境监控、海洋生态保护、海洋灾害防控、海洋规划建设等多维海洋信息全面掌控和高效应用，最大限度实现海洋数据价值。海洋大数据应用支撑平台在海洋电子信息产业将有重要应用价值和推广意义。

南方电网5G数字电网示范区”项目是由南方电网、中国移动、中兴通讯在广州市南沙区建立的。作为南方电网最大的数字电网示范区，其规划面积103平方公里，全面孵化验证54类业务场景，在电力发、输、变、配、用各个环节开展5G+数字电网应用创新。项目目前已完成5G终端上线3100个，形成规模化示范效应。
