It is reported that BYD and Huawei jointly held a "cloud rail unmanned driving system" press conference, Yinchuan cloud rail unmanned driving system, is scheduled to be put into trial operation in the second quarter of 2018. In the future, the unmanned system will be the high-tech main configuration of cloud rail.
According to BYD, unmanned driving is divided into four levels, and its unmanned driving system has reached the highest level - fully automatic unmanned driving (UTO), which can achieve fully automatic operation, and also has a number of functions such as the minimum safety tracking interval, unmanned driving with power failure, automatic diagnosis, sleep wake-up, real-time passenger flow monitoring, face recognition and so on.
In 2011, BYD set up a research and development team of more than 1000 people, which lasted 5 years and invested 5 billion yuan in total, and successfully created a cross-seat monorail "cloud rail" with 100% independent intellectual property rights. In August 2017, BYD's first cloud rail was put into operation in Yinchuan.
Just over four months later, Yinchuan cloud orbit has made another breakthrough -- it can realize fully autonomous driving. Notably, it is the world's first straddle monorail equipped with a self-driving system with 100% independent intellectual property rights.
BYD cloud rail can realize fully autonomous driving
Cloud rail unmanned driving, in addition to BYD's control technology and positioning technology, also need Huawei's eLTE communication technology support, that is, 4.5G rail transit wireless private network. If the unmanned driving system of BYD cloud rail is the decision-making system of human brain, then the role of Huawei 4.5G rail transit wireless private network is to provide rapid and efficient information transmission channel for cloud rail unmanned driving. Only by tacit cooperation between the two can unmanned driving become controllable and safe.
It is understood that from January 10, since the implementation of the official operation of the cloud rail, Yinchuan cloud rail will be able to brush the face into the station, passengers through the face recognition brake machine, almost without stopping, can pass.
In addition, high-speed wireless broadband service is available in every carriage of Cloud Rail, allowing passengers to play online games and share photos, videos and other moments online.

仅时隔4个多月,银川云轨再次取得突破性进展——可实现全自动无人驾驶。值得注意的是,这是全球首条搭载100%自主知识产权无人驾驶系统的跨座式单轨。
比亚迪云轨可实现全自动无人驾驶
云轨无人驾驶,除了需要比亚迪的控制技术及定位技术之外,也需要华为eLTE通信技术的支持,即4.5G轨道交通无线专网。如果说,比亚迪云轨的无人驾驶系统是人脑的决策系统,那么华为4.5G轨道交通无线专网,作用是为云轨无人驾驶提供快速、高效的信息输送通道,两者默契配合才能让无人驾驶变得可控、安全。
据了解,1月10日起,自云轨实施正式运行起,银川云轨将可刷脸进站,乘客经过人脸识别闸机时,几乎无需停留,即可通过。
此外,云轨的每节车厢里都设有高速无线宽带服务,乘客可以在线玩网络游戏,分享照片、视频等到朋友圈。
