China Everbright Environment Group Limited's first integrated urban solid waste treatment project in Hunan Province, Everbright Environmental Energy (Zhangjiajie) Co., Ltd., is a comprehensive facility capable of processing household waste, food waste, and dead animals through harmless treatment. Located in Jianxin Community, Yanghuping Street, Yongding District, Zhangjiajie City, the project covers an area of 123.81 acres with a total investment of approximately RMB 574 million.

光大环保能源（张家界）有限公司是中国光大环境（集团）有限公司在湖南省投资建设的首个集生活垃圾、餐厨垃圾、病死动物无害化处理于一体的城市固废综合处理项目，选址于张家界市永定区阳湖坪街道建新社区，占地面积123.81亩，总投资约5.74亿元。

The Zhangjiajie Waste-to-Energy Integrated Treatment Project is designed to achieve more efficient resource utilization, enhanced environmental protection, and higher construction efficiency by synergistically treating household waste, food waste, and dead animals in a harmless manner. The project is designed to process 800 tons of household waste per day, 120 tons of food waste and waste oil per day, and 10 tons of dead animals per day.

Construction of the Zhangjiajie project began on November 30, 2020. Despite challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the project advanced steadily. The first batch of waste was received at the facility on August 27, 2022, marking the end of landfill-based waste disposal in Zhangjiajie.

The food waste treatment project was successfully put into operation in the same year. In September 2024, the dead animal treatment project officially commenced operations.

Near-Zero Pollutant Emissions and Significant Waste Volume Reduction: Utilizing advanced technologies including "SNCR + Semi-Dry Method + Activated Carbon Adsorption + Baghouse Filtration," the flue gas emission indicators are far lower than the EU 2010 standards. The volume of waste is reduced by over 90% after incineration, greatly alleviating pressure on land resources and addressing the issue of "garbage siege."
